5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing, worth it!
I was pretty skeptical due a few bad reviews but i decided to try it anyways due to the good ones. I'm so glad I took the chance this worked way better than my old non acetone polish remover. I spent 20 plus minutes and 1 cotton ball per finger.... this soy nail polish remover dissolved the polish within seconds and I used 1 cotton swab for both hands. I definitely used less cotton and way less product. This small bottle should last a good while, well worth the price. My nails also didn't feel dry after. Tougher nail polish will need you to let the cotton sit on top for a few seconds as recommended before rubbing, but will come off instantly.*edit to say I was using regular old Sally Hansen nail polish (base, 2 polish coats, and a top coat)
5.0 out of 5 stars Nourishing and gentle, with a pleasant scent. Will definitely buy again and highly recommend!
I've been searching for a nail polish remover that doesn't destroy my nails or skin, but I didn't think it was possible to find one that doesn't abuse my olfactory senses. After reading MANY reviews for a multitude of brands, I read one review that led me away from the brand I was about to select, and it brought me here to ella + mila. The price was a little more than I wanted to spend on such a small bottle, but I decided to give it a try anyway. After all, I haven't had any luck with larger bottles at a lower price point. I just opened my bottle today and used it for the first time. The scent was not strong and offensive, but pleasant and almost citrus-y. It was so gentle, I thought it wasn't working, but I continued to wipe each nail. I noticed that it left behind a silky oil, like cuticle treatment oil. I rubbed it in and then washed my hands to see what was left behind. To my amazement, my nails were perfectly clean, my cuticles and skin around my nails were soft, and there was no damage or discoloration whatsoever! I absolutely LOVE this brand, and I will buy it over and over again!! I highly recommend this to anyone who cares about their skin and the air they breathe!
5.0 out of 5 stars EASY TO USE/DOES THE JOB
After reading some of the other reviews about how long it would take to work and how greasy it left your nails, I expected that to be the case. I used it to remove Sally Hanson base coat and two coats of Sally Hanson polish. That's some pretty hard polish, but it worked like a breeze. You don't have to use a lot of the remover. I only used two cotton pads, both sides used (because it sinks through to the opposite side) with only one application per pad. Maybe some people used too much. You leave it on a few seconds (I did't count) before swiping off the polish. My nails did not feel greasy. I think if you just washed your hands well, you'd be ready for new polish. I'm waiting on my Ella Mila colors to arrive in a day or two. I removed my current polish now because I wanted to make sure it worked. I wish this remover existed years ago. It was so nice not to be affronted with stinky, eye-watering acetone. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Ella Mila. I'm looking at the ten-bottle collection for my granddaughter's birthday, but I will check with her parents to make sure it's okay to give her that. I've seen nail polish on her before, but never commented because I didn't want her to think I disapproved. She's too old for the water-based collection and is very creative, so I think she would have a lot of fun having 10 different choices.
4.0 out of 5 stars Works but different
This is definitely hydrating and doesn’t have a strong chemical odor. I love that it is nearly odorless. It is definitely hydrating. It has an oil-based consistency. I recommend using a towel on a hard surface or near the sink. My only gripe is that if you’re in a rush to get your nails off so you can apply a fresh set, then this is not the product you should rely on. It does require a bit of time and possibly effort. Essentially you’d have to soak your nails a bit before rubbing. It took me probably 10-15 mins to get my nails off. But I definitely would recommend and I believe it’s safe for little ones.
5.0 out of 5 stars seriously like this product
I normally wouldn't spend much on nail polish remover, but gave this a try. I totally love this. Only used one cotton ball for both hand and food nails. Goes a long way and smells pleasant too. Getting this for my daughter as a stocking stuffer. She'll love it!
5.0 out of 5 stars Moisturizing and Effective
This nail polish remover makes my hands feel great after taking off my nail polish. The rich oils are so moisturizing on my nails and cuticles. I will only use this product to remove my nail polish now.
3.0 out of 5 stars So-so product.
I have done my nails all my life. I was once a manicurist. This product works after a lot of effort. You have to apply a lot of pressure and it takes time. I did one nail and picked up my bottle of Super nail remover. Hope this helps.
4.0 out of 5 stars My nails aren't stripped!
While this product did take a bit more time than acetone, my nails are not stripped of every ounce of moisture and look so much healthier! It did take two rounds of remover, but I had three layers of polish and was using a paper towel instead of a cotton round. Will definitely keep using and buy again!
The Best*****!
Fantastic ! I am very impressed with this nail polish remover!!! Expensive yes, my lungs & health are worth it.Easy to use, leaves my nails looking healthy, smooth, moist not oily. Doesn't dry out cuticles either. In the past my nails would be dry and my cuticles would hurt after taking off traditional nail polish. Ella+mila is the best non smelly non toxic nail polish remover I have ever tried. I thought when buying nail polish remover there wasn't a choice , and wishing there was a non toxic substitute. I stopped wearing nail polish & using nail polish remover for awhile, mainly because the the smell and the health of my lungs.I worried when my 7yr old granddaughter wanted to remover her nail polish with traditional nail polish remover .It's amazing now we have safe non toxic nail polish remover Fantastic! I'm a customer for life. This is a keeper!UPDATE! What happen the price has gone up to $44.00 !!!I bought this small bottle of soy nail polish remover1 month ago at $36.00 and that was expensive, today at $44.00Is ridiculous. Unless the price goes down this will be my last bottle of this brand of nail polish remover from this company. What's the next price $50.00! I'm done.
Good
Cruelty free nail polish remover
Nail polish remover that feels like cuticle softener
Amazing it does work, removed nail polish without being harsh on your skin. Highly recommend.
Works amazing
This nail polish remover works great, just like an acetone one but without acetone. I was so surprised. I saturated one cotton pad with the liquid and that was also enough to remove polish from all my toenails. My nails don't feel rough like after using acetone remover.
Fabulous product
As others have mentioned, yes, it's a greasy product. But thats kinda how it works. I've only used it once now, but it did a fantastic job of removing old nail polish, bu5 beyond that it left my nails feeling NOURSIHED. I will update if anything changes, but at this point I will never EVER return to conventional polish remover.
