  • What is the EldonCard: You can learn your blood type in just a couple of minutes using the Eldon Blood Typing Kit. The EldonCard is used for ABO-and RHD blood grouping. The card is perfect for individuals to understand what their blood group is. The Blood Typing cards are accurate and can be used in the home and once completed the card can covered for future reference.
  • Why do I need the EldonCard: Your blood type is inherited from your parents and determined by the presence or absence of certain antigens and antibodies. The EldonCard is made of a special type of plastic upon which dried antibody formulations are placed. The EldonCard is a reliable, durable, and a flexible point-of-care blood typing system.
  • How EldonCard Works: The type of antigen you have tells us what your blood type is. While there are more than 20 blood-type systems, A, B, O and Rh (Rhesus) factor are by far the most important types. The blood is drawn by using a single-use safety lancet, which prevents accidental piercing by anyone picking up the lancet after it has been used.
  • EldonCard Accuracy: The EldonCard is extremely accurate. It has been tested against the standard blood typing procedure using directly agglutinating antibodies. Tests have been performed at several laboratories in different countries and the results are in-line with laboratory-based tests.
  • Where and Who can use it: EldonCard is used by hospitals, blood banks, blood centres, where it can be used for general blood typing and for bed side testing. Given the flexibility, durability and accuracy of the EldonCard, it can be used outside hospitals and clinic environments.     My 13 year old wanted to know her blood type. I bought two of these thinking one for my 13 yr old and one for my 15 yr old. They are home schooled and I thought these could be educational. It was very educational for them because suddenly they wanted to know who in history shared their blood type. This then went to them researching countries with the most people who share their blood type. Before I knew it they knew historical events, foods for blood types, people in current and history with the same blood type and the difference in RH +/-, which had them researching so much more.Had I known my educational goals for them would be met simply by knowing their blood types I'd of ordered these a lot sooner. It also taught us all that out of all 5 of my kids (3 adults) only my 1st born (now 30 years old) shares my blood own blood type (RH -) the rest are RH +The kit was easy to use. My daughter is a T1 diabetic so she frequently pokes her finger to test her BG, she said the lancet that comes with the kit was sorta painful compared to her diabetic lancet but testing for BG doesn't require as much blood so it made sense to me.Reading the results was easy because they have pictures of all possible outcomes. Compare the card to the pictures and you'll have your results.

    Bought a few of these for fun to use with mg family. They worked really quick and were simple to follow along with. My mother knew her blood type from lab work & got the same result on this at home test, which made the rest of us more confident in their credibility. Overall were nice & would consider buying more as little gifts

    This blood typing test was easy and accurate for my husband and I. The one drawback is that the lancet is pretty aggressive (I would have preferred to do 2 milder pokes) but still, it worked well and was easy to interpret.

    It actually works. we ordered these because my husband didn’t know his blood type and our insurance wouldn’t pay to have that test done. I knew my blood type so we tried it with me first to see if it was accurate and it was. it’s actually pretty cool. I ordered more because I want to do the kids now.

    Ordered product that shows 2 test kit. Received only one. Contacted the seller and received no response. Can’t request for partial refund as Bolo states to contact seller. Product itself is great as it does what it states, just wish that customer service was better.
