5.0 out of 5 stars Great bag for the amatuer photographer
Before traveling to Iceland I needed to get a camera bag that could withstand the extreme conditions that is indicative of the weather there. I had narrowed it down to this bag and the Lowepro Slingshot 202. I went with this bag and was extremely happy with my decision, I took this thing in glaciers, ice caves, volcano caves, boats, hiking, and just general city commuting in all sort of weather and it was comfortable, convenient, and protected all my camera gear. I am more of a camera hobbyist, right now I shoot with a Canon Rebel series camera and that is probably the target demographic for this bag. If you are intent on carrying 4 or more lenses and rapidly switching them out, I would look elsewhere. In the main compartment I could comfortably fit three of my lenses: a telephoto lens, fixed wide angle lense, and a kit wide angle zoom lens, as well as the power adapter all in the main compartment. Instead of storing the power adapter in that compartment you could probably swap it out for your external camera flash. There is also a small pouch area to store extra sd cards. The second largest compartment is a good size. I used this bag as my carry on luggage with a tripod attached, and in addition to the lens cleaning kit I store in this compartment I was also able to comfortable keep my sunglasses, keys, headphones, extra batteries, and portable phone charging station. The smallest compartment is right in the center of the bag. This zippered pocket is super deep so I was able to keep a micro fiber towel and various important documents in there. It also has a convenient clip to store your keys on as well as as some small sewn in pockets to store things like pens, or small flashlights.I love how quickly and secure I can attach a tripod to the bag and even with that added weight the bag was still comfortable and didn't have any pressure points. The cross body strap system takes some getting use to, but it does come in handy as a stabilization tool when taking pics. You can just slide this bag across your body and the access pocket for the camera is right in front of you. After you get your camera you can put your elbows on the bag for stability. I was able to take clean crisp pictures with long shutter times using this technique.I have shoulder problems so lifting the bag above my head to position the diagonal strap properly was a bit of a problem, what I really like about this bag is I was able to unhook the main strap put the back pack on my back and snap it back into place. I also love how sleek it looks, other camera bags if they aren't full of stuff tend to sag in some areas and pinch, this one always looks sleek which is a blessing when trying to make your way through congested areas. Also love that it has a waterproof protection cover that hides away in a pocket at the base of the bag. It is permanently attached to the bag as well, which is awesome as I've lost a countless number of those covers.
5.0 out of 5 stars Terrifically well-designed professional-level carry-on camera bag.
This is a very well-designed, pro-level bag that's worth every penny.Just got back from a two-plus-week European excursion and used this bag as my flight carry-on and day-pack throughout the trip. Perfect fit for my DSLR with its 18-55mm zoom, 75-300mm zoom lens, 55mm std. lens, dual battery charger, and extra batteries. Liked the handy pockets for extra SIM chips, but wish one of them was big enough to put a battery in for quicker, easier access. The front-most pocket, which runs almost the full length of the bag, has a surprising amount of room and pockets for pens, and other small essentials, as well as a lanyard for keys or penlight. I was able to put a packable rain coat in here with just a little effort. The larger bag opening, while short, has plenty of room for noise-cancelling headphones, a decent-sized padded tablet pocket, and a zippered pouch for documents. There's a nice elastic and mesh side-pocket big enough for a 16 oz. water bottle. While all of that thoughtfully-designed storage is great, it functioned even better. The zippers and closures are sturdy, the padding is good, and it's very comfortable to wear across your shoulder on your back or to move to the front when accessing the camera, sitting down, or in crowds where the possibility of a snatch-and-grab might exist. Camera access is easy and relatively quick: just slide the bag to your chest, open the side flap, pull out the camera, and start shooting.Kudos to Lowepro!
4.0 out of 5 stars Really nice .. But
This is the nicest photo bag I have ever owned, but it is not the nicest photo bag out there. Prime Day helped me get this one because I'm a cheap bass who thinks more than $100 for a bag is ridiculous. The camera department in this bag is wonderful. I use a DSLR camera: Pentax K-3 iii, and three main lenses, a Pentax SMC 10-17mm fish-eye (my normal everyday lens on my camera most of the time), Rokinon 8mm fish-eye, and a Pentax D FA 28-105mm walk around street lens. I also have a battery grip that is normally on my camera, but this bag is too small / stiff to keep it on, an LED light, three camera batteries in a 3D printed holder, and an adjustable ND filter. This is all packed into the camera section and fits very snug, but very accessible. I wanted to have a little more room to keep my battery grip on my camera, but it isn't a game changer that it doesn't work (possible game changer / return below). The top section is wide open. I suggest using smaller travel bags in there because it is, wide open. I have one travel bag that holds the camera remotes, lens clothes, tool kit (folds up like a Swiss Army knife), pencil, sticky notes, and camera body cap. Then a pull closed bag that's got the battery charger mount, chord, wall charger, and a grey white balance card. Randomly tossed in there are my head lamps (I mainly hike at night here in Utah because HOT days), and a small LED flashlight (in the zipper pocket of the bag).My little hiking tripod fits really nice down the back of this back (THE reason I got the bag - my other cross body back does NOT work well with a tripod and I hike at night with shutter speeds in the seconds, not fractions of seconds, so I have to have a tripod). That is how I have the bag packed at the moment. I will probably move a few things around after the first hike. I do haul this bag around with me on the daily, and this is where I have a gripe. The strap is "fine" when it is on, across your body. I am a 6' tall man, in the 250# range. So I am not a small person, but I am also not huge. The strap on this thing is nice and wide, feels like it will break in well, BUT it is short, and not very happy accepting a strap mount quick release camera clip (it fits, but it crunches the strap). My camera clip is only about 2 inches from the end of the padded portion of the strap, and still sits up near my collar bone when I have the bag across my body. The small strap that you can also wear that goes under your arm is at the lowest part of its travel just under my camera clip.Hopefully this "end of adjustments" wear of the straps will be comfortable, but if you are a larger, taller person, just be prepared to run the adjustments out to their limits. I had my girlfriend look for me to see if maybe I was wearing the bag very low on my back, or had something setup weird, and she said it was nice and high on my back, and it didn't look like anything was still wrapped up weird. We'll see, but it is not a system designed with people with large frames. Finally by biggest complaint, and what might lead me to send this back is how it feels to throw it over the left shoulder for walking to your car or just casually hanging out and not wanting to throw the entire bag over your head to wear it across your body. It does NOT work well at all as a shoulder bag, at all, even a little, no sir.The strap is entirely designed (and well) to be used as a cross body bag. It is off center to help it hold well across your body and over your head. This means that if you want to use it on your shoulder, you're going to have to use one hand on the strap to keep it on your shoulder, or it will slide right off. I do not like wearing a full backpack when I hike (short 4 mile hikes at most) so I wear a sling bag. I only really throw it over my head and wear it across my body when I am hiking, not in my daily life. I load the bag pretty heavy, I am "squishy" so I look like a snowman when it is wrapped around me as a cross body bag.I'll give it this week to see how frustrated I get with the shoulder slippage and I hope I will figure out a technique to keep it there. If it can't hang, I'll request a return.

Tack för en snabb och trevlig leverans!
Very compact and handy
Bardzo poręczna torba. Łatwość wyjmowania i wkładania aparatu beż odpinania pasa. Mieści się tablet 11" (Lenovo P11) razem z etui i do tego Kindle Paperwhite 5 - w iednej kieszeni.Jakość wykonania LowePro - warte tych pieniędzy.
Great bag, room enough for my full-frame and a couple of lenses
Debated long and hard before going for this bag. As always the biggest challenge is working out how big it really is and whether the capacity is sufficient.I needed something lighter and smaller than my main camera bag, lower profile too, for day-trips carrying my full-frame Nikon and a couple of lenses. After a lot of pondering the slingshot caught my eye, not only because of the excellent access it gives you to the camera space without taking off but also being able to pull the bag round when travelling on public transport. Far less annoying for other passengers and a bit more secure for the top space if it's in front of you.Has worked out grand. Plenty of room for the camera with a 28-85mm onboard and the wide angle and prime in the adjacent pockets for when needed. The top space easily has enough room for a day's snacks, even for me, front pocket big enough for stuff you need ready access to and a side pocket that's big enough for my trusty battered water bottle. The straps are easily moved around to thread through the water bottle cap to keep it safe in the pocket. One nice touch is the wider rubber handle on top. A few of my old bags just had a strip of fabric. Whilst functional and obviously strong enough they haven't been the most comfortable way to carry the bag in a confined space, especially when loaded up for a day trip.Although early days quality matches what I've come to expect from Lowepro. Very pleased.
Comodo e sicuro.
A nice sling bag
I have been using the Lowepro Slingshot Edge 150AW bag for a while, the 150AW is a very convenient bag for a short trip, but now that I planned for a long trip I need a larger bag to carry some more essential items and I have chosen the Lowepro Slingshot Edge 250AW for it's larger compartment on the top and at the bottom.I am very happy that Bolo shipped this bag real fast, this bag is designed the same way as the smaller 150AW except larger in size which is exactly what I need, since I don't carry extra lens the top portion of the bag is perfect for a light rain jacket, a hat, sunscreen, snacks, some basic camera accessories such as lens filters, a power bank, and some cables. When fully loaded this bag feels very light when carrying on the back, thanks to Lowepro for the nice weight distribution design, I like the hidden strap to secure the bag when ridding on the bike or running. The bag is well made and the padding provides much protection for the camera and the accessories. The camera compartment is good for mirrorless and small size DSLR, there is enough room for small lenses and accessories. The zippers are very smooth and easy to use. It has a mesh pocket on the side for the water bottle, and it has straps for a small travel tripod on the front panel. There is a couple of pouches behind the front panel for pen, key, and maps, the map pouch is not recommended for an important item such as a passport since this pouch is not secured. On the top of the camera compartment there are two small pouches behind the elastic band for SD cards, keep the SD card in their own plastic container and put it in the pouch behind the elastic band to secure it. The top compartment has a mesh pouch for small items, at the front side there is a deeper pocket for a small tablet, I wish Lowepro would put a zipper on this pocket so that it can be used for important travel documents, in the middle there is enough space to put essential items that I had mentioned above, at the bottom of the bag there is a rain cover in the hidden pocket which is very useful in downpour situation. It would be nice if Lowepro would add a secured pocket inside this bag for the important items such as a passport, include a strap to secure the water bottle and that would make this Slingshot Edge 250AW a great bag for day trips. In summary, this is a very nice bag for people who like to travel light.
