This thing works great for presentations. Obviously, that's what it was designed for, but I used it for my PhD defense, and it really makes things run a lot smoother than clicking a button on the computer. When it's really important to show professionalism during the presentation this is a definite go-to. I also like how the USB dongle portion actually magnetizes into the body of the device so it all stays together as one piece, so I don't have to pop anything open or try to claw something out to hook it up to the computer. It is now a mainstay in my computer bag.

Best purchase I’ve made for myself to be used at work.If you want to up your presentation and your presence - make this purchase. Fly through your PowerPoint presentation without hovering at your computer and clicking your mouse.It also gives you a more “put together” and prepared appearance by having this as well.Connects wireless through USB. Light weight. Easy to use.

Feels light and cheap in the hand, but it “just works”. Controls aren’t super intuitive, but also not difficult to learn or explain. I let a conference use this over 4 days and there were a lot of jokes about “down is forward”, but no one had any challenges making use of it. Still working great after the conference and personal use, lugging it around loose in a backpack. For the price, if it were to break tomorrow I feel like I would have gotten my money’s worth.

Update-After the seller saw my review they reached out and made my issue right. Great customer service! I will buy from them again in the future if a need arises.I order this in June to use in my classroom (school starts in August). I opened it for the first time today and it doesn't work.

Update (three months later):OK, I take back anything positive I’ve said about it, it is crap. Specifically, the receiver is crap. I had one case before where it seemed to hesitate when advancing, and then double advance. I didn’t think much of it, it could’ve been the computer it could’ve been anything else so I just ignored it. Well today, it got me harder. All the sudden, out of nowhere, it started rapid advancing through and to the end of all of my items. Even after it got to the end it kept trying to advance further, and blocked other interactions. I turned the remote off and it kept doing it, meaning that the problem was in the little receiver. I had already experienced a couple of hesitations where it would wait to advance, and then suddenly advance after a couple seconds. That was the same kind of thing I had experience before but now it was more clear that it was the remotes fault. However to suddenly Rapid advance through the entire presentation, and then keep trying to advance even with a remote turned off, was the last straw.I would return this thing if I could, but it is about 28 days outside the return window.Don’t buy this!Original review:So, the description for this thing says it can work over something like 90 feet minimum to over 100 feet. Or maybe it was meters. Either way, I have a tech balcony that is about 12 feet off the ground, and 60 feet away from the stage. I plugged this thing into a computer that was just below the balcony rail, and tested that it worked while standing next to the computer.However when standing on stage, it didn’t work at all. I reiterate, that is approximately 60 horizontal feet, and 10 or 12 vertical feet distant. Not at all the 90 feet it’s supposed to work over.Just for kicks, I walked to the middle-back of the room, which was probably 25 feet diagonal away from the receiver, and it’ still didn’t work.So the whole purpose for which I bought this—long range as it says in the title—is completely out the window.It’s a good little remote, don’t get me wrong—it works in every other way and I actually like it, but For the purpose for which I got it, it is completely useless. And the description lies.
Worked 3 times, then failed
This is a knockoff, which is fine by me for the price paid. However, after using it only 3 times, now the laser always turned on. The rest works fine, but I can't have this light work all the time.
Optisch hochwertiger Presenter
Der DinoFire Presenter liegt super in der Hand bei Präsentationen und ist dabei sehr gut zu bedienen. Außerdem lässt er sich ohne Aufwand sofort nutzen. Einfach den kleinen USB-Empfänger am Laptop eingesteckt und schon war er funktionsbereit.
Broke in a matter of weeks
Was good when it worked but quickly broke/stopped working
Good product. Working fine and as expected... But now not working.
The product is quite good and works as expected. One reason for choosing this product is it had the needed feature of controlling the volume from the presenter, some models like Logitech did not have. At the same time I would like to mention that this product ships from abroad and can take up to 3 weeks to deliver. So if its not urgent, then go ahead and place an order...... And now since last two weeks (Sept '19) or so it stopped working. Don't know if it is under any kind of warranty..
The announced signal range is not valid
I bought this presenter to use in my classroom while teaching students.It doesn't function when you are more than 2 meters far from its USB.Consequently, I had to borrow another presenter from one of my colleagues.
