5.0 out of 5 stars Inflates tires up to 150lbs
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } I received this portable air compressor and the first time I used it the performance was outstanding . . I easily connected to the vehicle battery and the air compressor inflated my RV tires to 110lbs as required. The connection to the tire was secure by screwing the connector to the valve stem and it worked flawlesly.
5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Product
I spent a lot more than I was originally planning to spend but this is a top of the air compressor and I needed high quality and high psi for my Class C RV. Accurate tire pressure is a significant safety issue so it was worth the expense.
5.0 out of 5 stars Visit compressor
Product worked as described, handy and compact with the carrying case.Built well it's very solid. The gauge is a couple pounds off from what it reads but that's not a problem. Good purchase,I like that it works off batteries instead of electric.
5.0 out of 5 stars Works, just VERY slowly
The compressor does exactly what it advertised. Downside: it takes 10 minutes to go from 110 to 120 psi on 22.5 semi mo home tires. Times 8 tires, you're going to be on your ass for a while.
4.0 out of 5 stars I love this Compressor
Works amazing easy to hook up to my truck batteries and the kit as a whole is perfect for my needs. I have a large RV and six large tires that nee to be checked all the time. This compressor fills my tires to 100psi in seconds. I have had to inflate a flat tire a couple of time and the compressor just ran and ran no over heating no slowing down just smooth running. The bag it comes with is very nice canvas I have dropped it in the mud a couple of times and just hosed it off. The hose work great you can couple and uncouple with one hand " with a little practice" The gauge on the air gun was bad I called for a new one and never receive it. I use a different gauge so big deal but for the money you pay for this every piece should be primo.
5.0 out of 5 stars Quality compressor for RV'ers
We had been carrying around one of the standard cannister style compressors in our RV for a couple of years. It was 150 psi max, but as most people know, filling the 110 psi+ tires on an RV is near impossible. So I invested in the Viair 45053 RV edition. It was pricey, but I thought maybe it would make life easier. And it did. The unit weighs less and is smaller than the compressor I was carrying around before. It also comes in a bag with pockets for the attachments and hoses, so everything is more consolidated and compact while in storage.Things to know before buying:* This does not plug into a normal wall outlet. It attaches to your vehicle's battery.* This unit does not have a cannister (in the normal sense) and operates oil free (keeps it lightweight and small).* Filling a 110 psi tire can take a while, depending on how deflated the tire is. It's not a fast process. Don't get impatient.* You'll be a lot happier if you can use the screw-on adapter to fill the tires because it will save your hands. Take advantage of it when you can.Honestly, I was expecting to be disappointed simply because so much stuff I buy for the RV on here turns out to be 'less than optimal'. :-) But I am not disappointed. I've used this item to inflate the RV tires (all 6) and even our e-bike tires. I'm hoping it's the last compressor we need for years to come.
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Product
I used this to inflate my Class A Coach. The attachments are of excellent quality, and the extension air hose eliminates the need for any power extension. The carry case is highly durable, and the storage pockets are well-designed for individual air hoses and accessories. Don't let the price sway you away from purchasing; the system deserves 5 Stars. The only feature missing from the inexpensive systems is the ability to set the desired pressure shut-off
5.0 out of 5 stars A handy addition to your RV toolkit
I waited and waited to buy one of these compressors, primarily due to the cost. When I finally pulled the trigger, I found that this a handy piece of equipment to carry with you. On longer trips, it makes sense to check tire pressures occasionally on the RV and the toad.To set up and add air was surprisingly fast and easy. I am amazed how this little compressor puts out enough pressure to top up my 120# tires. It fits nicely in the case provided and gives enough power cord and air hose to reach all the way around the unit. The directions state that the engine on the vehicle should be running when using the compressor but I found that if I am on shore power, the starting batteries and the charger provide enough current to pump air.The air chuck and gage fit inner and outer dualies and is accurate compared to my hand gage. It all fits in the case for packing.
This thing is awesome.
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } I didn’t really want to spend this much money on an air compressors for tires but it’s worth it not to have to drag truck and camper into tight places to fill tires you can just do it before you hit the road. Deff a must have.
Super high quality.

Works Great! Should Have Bought This Sooner
When we bought our Ford F-350 Dually and a fifth wheel trailer, I bought a CAD$80 (~USD$60) dual 12/120v air tire inflator. The first time we needed to use it, we found out how slow it was. We needed to raise the air pressure in our four big trailer tires from about 90 psi to 110 psi, with one tire at just 57 psi. It took nearly a half hour to do this, and was so slow that I settled for just 100psi--our friends were waiting for us to finish before we left the meeting point and headed on our way. I was determined not to repeat that frustrating experience. My next purchase was a much faster 12v tire inflator for about CAD$150 (~USD$112). It was much faster and certainly addressed the frustration problem. However, after about an hour's total use, the plastic part that clamps on the valve stem blew off the end of its hose. I was able to get a free replacement under warranty, but after a mere half-hour of use, that one started blowing its fuse every time I used it, rendering it useless. So, I decided that I had to find one that was highly rated and would last. After my experiences with these other ones, I was willing to pay for a good quality tire inflator. Well, the Viair 450P-RV is exactly what I was looking for. It comes with all the attachments you need. It has a long coiled hose and a second extension coiled hose so that you can have the compressor near the front of the truck or trailer to reach the battery in either one yet still be able to reach back to the tires. I was even able to use the battery in my truck and reach all the way back to the trailer tires on our 36-foot fifth wheel. Overall, we're very happy with it.One caveat--we've only got about an hour's use on it so far. From all the reports I've read, it's very reliable so I'm not worried about that at all. However, I can't personally testify to its longevity.A great product, and I really wish we'd bought it much earlier!
Has the power
This bad unit has the power to inflate my diesel pusher motorhome tires. This thing is small, portable, light weight, and very powerful. Very high quality material. You need to connect it directly to the vehicle battery - there is no standard power plug. I use in conjunction with a digital gauge to verify pressure. The included chuck works very well with dually tires. This thing is expensive but high quality. Properly inflated tires makes a huge difference in vehicle handling. Very happy with this purchase. Highly recommend.
