This is the second waffle maker I've tried, and it works significantly better than my old one. There are just so many features I like about this waffle maker:- Small footprint makes it easier to storage in my kitchen, where cabinet space is limited.- It beeps to let you know when you waffle is done (based on your preferred darkness-setting, 1-5), so you won't under or over cook it. This was a BIG improvement from my prior waffle maker, where I'd regularly undercook waffles.- Easy to use - you just dump your waffle mixture into the top of the machine and... that's it!- It gives you a PERFECT exterior. I use the "3" setting, and I got a nice light brown, slightly crispy exterior. YUM!Additionally, clean up was pretty easy, although I do wish I could give it a quick rinse in the sink (the instructions say to wipe down with a cloth instead).As a bonus, I liked the recipes I tried from the included booklet. Yesterday we made the lemon poppy seed waffles and they were a big hit with my kids!

It's really an excellent unit. I've made about 10 waffles so far. The portion cup is very clever. I have used several different kinds of makers and this takes the cake (or waffle?). The vertical style means no mess, even if you pour too much, there is a funnel feature at the top that just cooks off the overflow batter if you have any. It's non-stick so I have not needed to prep or spray the unit before cooking, just pour the batter in and it comes out easy every time. If left on, it will occassionally beep, which is great for someone like me doing ten things around the kitchen. Light enough to move around the kitchen, yet very sturdy. The design makes it very easy to store as well. Perfect. Waffles.

We purchased this and use it fairly often. I really like that its footprint is vertical, making it easier to store in my kitchen. I have some suggestions on user operation and making the most out of it:First off, spray it before each use. This makes clean up much easier. Second, sit it on a towl or cutting board, as the spray will eventually leak out the bottom. Not a lot, but just a little. We have never had batter leak out of the bottom. Next, it has a pour section at the top, which might work for very runny mixtures. However, for almost all waffle mixtures we have tried, we have actually found it easier to pour the entire amount of batter while it is open on the lower part near the top to the center, and let it set for a few seconds, and then close it letting gravity take the rest down. This has produced the most perfect shape. Just pouring an amount in the top sometimes caused a backup if it set too quickly and we wouldn't know if it was enough batter. That's it, once you figure out how best works for your batters, it's great.

*Disclaimer* I have only used this waffle maker once since I purchased it. However, when shopping for a space saving waffle maker that didn't compromise on fluffy Belgium waffles, and was a brand I trust, I decided to give this a try. First, it is simple as hell to operate, just plug in and turn on and adjust the temp nob for desired "doneness". Easy peasy. Second, fill the waffle maker using the provided scoop. This was a bit more trial and error as there is no real markings on the scoop to show max or min amount to pour. Once I figured out to get the perfect roundness one wants from their waffle, I used a full to the top scoop per waffle. Third, ease of removal. This was surprisingly super easy. The angle of the bottom plate made it easy to get under the waffle and remove it. Lastly, clean up wasn't so much easy as it is a bit of a technique curve. I'm saying this because the bottome plate opens but doesn't lay flat due to the lack of weight on this portion. This is a no nrainer as they wouldn't want a hkt waffle maker flipping over on someone everytime its opened. With that in mind I would suggest using a kitchen grade "paint brush" to swipe away left over crumbs and debris from a cooled waffle maker. There were no seen leaks nor did I experience a eaffle that wasn't cooked right. My waffles turned out fluffy and perfect every time I made a waffle. I would reccomend with the caveat it's a bit hard to clean if that matters. Otherwise it's some of the best waffles I've had at home.

Purchased this for homemade waffles. Comes with a recipe book so that was handy. I,like the fact the machine let's you know when it is hot enough to add the batter and also when the waffle is finished. It beeps each time..so there is no guessing. It only makes one waffle at a time but they are nice sized. It lets you decide on how Brown you want the waffle. I set it on 4 for a more golden color, crisper yet still flaky inside. It comes with a measure scoop so you know how much batter to add, but depending on the ingredients added it's a learning curve, yet easy. Cleanup is a breeze as the batter doesn't stick since you use oil in the batter...haven't tried it using butter only in the batter. Recommend it. Can have waffles home anytime fresh, cheaper and convenient.

this purchase was to replace/upgrade the old waffle maker, and it is so much easier. we use it often and its so easy to use. and the cleanup is easy as well. this is just amazing. worth the investment.
MUY BONITO ELECTRODOMÉSTICO + FUNCIONAL WAFFLERA
No hay mucho que decir. Es bonita y práctica. Pero si eres como yo que te encanta experimentar con nuevas recetas , bueno, para eso no es la ideal. En ese caso es mejor una horizontal , por lo que algunas mezclas son más espesas que otras, y en la vertical habrá mezclas que no se acomoden bien . Pero la wafflera llega con un recetario y si sigues al pide de la letra quedan unos waffles hermoso, perfectos. Si quieres una wafflera bonita y funcional es de las mejores opciones. Debo decir que se ve MUY pero muy resistente , hoy en día es difícil encontrar cosas que no se vean y sean casi desechables unos usos y listo, a la basura, no, está wafflera es de los pocos de PRECIO BAJO pero con la MEJOR calidad. Es todo lo que hay que decir.

Absolutely Fantastic. Tried it out this morning for breakfast and they turned out great.Deep square pockets/thick and crisp (if your recipe is right) and easy to use. without any over flow.Non stick coating is fab. No need to spray/rub any fat on the surface. Let’s you know when they’re ready.I used it on the No-4 setting as i like waffles more browned and they came out perfect. It comes with a good recipe book which i still need to go through. If you’re a true waffle fan then i highly recommend this machine.Have tried atleast 7-8 brands and acc. to me it’s the best one and is at par with the Ninja vertical one too. I prefer a round shape so that’s why i bought this. it’s a personal choice. Go for it. you willnot be disappointed.

Quedé sorprendida de lo fácil que es usar está wafflera. Vale cada peso. La taza medidora que incluye ayuda mucho y es justo la medida con la receta de waffles clásicos que viene en el recetario. Las instrucciones son claras y sencillas de seguir. Los waffles quedaron deliciosos en el primer intento, no hubo necesidad de desechar ninguno. Siempre quise una wafflera y que bueno que esta fue la primera que probé! No se pega absolutamente nada, no es necesario engrasar ni nada por el estilo. Es fácil de limpiar y ocupa poco espacio 👌*Actualización: ya llevo poco más del mes con ésta wafflera y funciona excelentemente ❤️ hoy hicimos waffles y olvidamos agregar el aceite al preparar la mezcla ..y aún así no se pegó nada 👌👌👌 la volvería a comprar sin dudarlo
