The 20-piece wooden food set includes grilling favorites like hotdog, hamburger, chicken, steak, ribs, veggie burger, and corn, plus tasty toppings and sturdy utensils. Flip the sturdy corrugated box over and it becomes the "grill," with pictures of knobs for adjusting the temperature and four self-stick tabs to hold the food. Double-sided food pieces show one side uncooked--flip the pieces with the tongs or spatula, and the other side appears cooked! Use the buns to make a sandwich with fresh toppings. I purchased this set as a gift and it’s so cute! Perfect for a birthday gift and a fun set! Melissa and Doug makes such great quality toys. It’s one of my favorite brands and I’m never disappointed with the look or quality of their toys. This set is nice because it’s smaller than an entire grill set so it’s perfect for a smaller space. I got on sale and thought it was a great deal for the price. I highly recommend this grill set!

This is a cute set for children who like to grill along with their parents! There is a variety of meat and even a veggie burger. However, the tongs are a bit loose, making the items harder to grasp. Also, perhaps I didn't read the description closely, but I was a little disappointed that the grill is actually the box that the wooden items come in. It's still totally functional and looks enough like a grill for kids to to have fun, but over time I'm not sure how sturdy it will be.

Fun and entertaining
As soon as this came my son started playing with it. We have other Melissa and Doug food toys and this did not dissapoint.* The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the grill is a box. Not as durable however my son is a bit older so he knows to be gentle, younger kids may be a bit rougher with it so may not last as long*Overall super happy with this toy

I felt the tongs were little hard to work with but love that you can pull apart and match up.
