This is exactly what I wanted: an amazingly beautiful, extremely accurate piece of jewelry that I can wear 24/7.I set the watch against my cell phone. It is accurate to the second.I got the blue dial with stainless steel (silver colored) band. The photo in ad is fairly accurate, but the watch is much more beautiful in person. I am going to describe what it looks like in detail because I wish one of the reviewers or the seller had included all this information to help me shop.The dial is a bright blue sun ray. It's not quite true blue, but has a slightly purplish tint. In the photo the numbers look white, which was acceptable though not quite what I wanted. But in fact they are polished silver, which is what I DID want. The hands are also silver, but the hour and minute hands have a white stripe of luminous material; this strip appears green as it glows in the dark, but looks bright white when the watch is in day light or artificial lighting. The border just inside the edge of the crystal is also a mirror-finish silver. The beveled edge between the outer mirror ring and the dial is a matte navy blue. All the rest of the writing and markers are bright white, with black type for the day and date. I would have included a photo, if I could figure out how to get the lighting right to show the details accurately, but there is so much reflected light from so many different directions that the colors don't show true. Despite this, the time is very easy to read.The case has a highly polished, mirror finish. The band and two finishes: the outer edges have the same mirror finish, while there is a wide brushed stainless finish in the middle. Very pretty. Some other reviewers submitted photos that make the band look gray or black and not very shiny, but that's not how it looks at all. It's as blingy as you can get without the busy look of jewels and engravings. The whole look is very sleek, yet eye-catching from across the room.The crystal is flat all the way to the edge, which sits about 1mm higher than the edge of the case.Some reviewers said that the band makes a rattling sound, but I mine does not. It rattles while taking it off and putting it on, but since I never do that I don't care. I probably wouldn't care even if there were a rattle while wearing it. But no, it's silent.The size and design are good for me. I am a big person so I have fun wearing big watches, but I have very very small wrists, such that bracelets never fit me off the rack. Watches usually slide to the outer edge of my wrist. But either accidentally or by design, the links in this band combined with the case size are such that removing two links made it fit me exactly right. The case sits right in the middle of my wrist withoutrotating around and making me look disheveled and making my wrist bones feel uncomfortable. This alone is a precious feature--something that fits me! Hurray! Since summer is upon us, I may add back one link so that it fits more like a loose bangle, which I find more comfortable in humid heat.I like that it doesn't have a diamond in it. I would have grudgingly bought a watch with a diamond if everything else were just right, but I prefer not to support the diamond industry.I intend to brutalize this watch because my life is busy and physical and I don't like to constantly don and remove jewelry and timepieces that can't keep up with me. If I am not having an MRI performed, I don't take off my metal adornments. I will update this review when I know more about how it stands up to the punishment of daily bathing, running, gardening, and banging around in cabinets.I got this watch to replace a Michael Kors Runway watch with a gorgeous blue and silver dial and a not-so-pretty painted green band, with a price tag almost seven times what I paid for this one. That watch was a great disappointment, since the paint began to chip off immediately. I have higher hopes for this $30 Armitron, and if I'm wrong, well it was only $30 instead of $200.

I love this watch. It is the second one that I have owned. The first one did break, however, after two years. The screw/time adjustment knob got snagged on something and broke off. The story is I needed the perfect watch for my wedding. Something nice and dressy, but also something I could wear everyday since I never take my watch off other than to shower. But I also needed something waterproof for swimming and such, which we do a lot of in the summer. We went to several big name jewels in the local mall. All had super nice expensive watches that looked great, but were not waterproof. So I kept looking and finally found this watch. I wanted black of course, but silver also. My wedding ring is black and silver, so it is exactly what I needed. And the price is so good, I might just buy a couple more incase something happens to this new one I have. Just a heads up, the black paint does ware off over time. I work at a computer most of the day, and my watch is constantly rubbing and sitting on the table. But I expect that, even in super expensive watches. Unless it is made from actual black metal, anything painted will do that.**UPDATE**So I am about to order my 3rd one of these exact watches. It really is my perfect watch, which is why I keep buying them. BUT, the battery life sucks. I've had my current watch exactly a year and a half and its dying. Same problem I had with the first watch. And getting a waterproof watch battery replaced isn't worth the cost and energy when I can just buy a new one for this price. But really, I have digital armitrons from 20 years ago that still have battery life.***UPDATE AGAIN*** 9/5/23So they say they're waterproof and they are to an extent. I've only swam in mine a couple of times maybe, but there is condensation on the face so much that it covers have the face. Will probably still buy another one. Just figure these watches late about a year before failing in some sort of way.

This is a really nice looking watch at a very reasonable price. I obviously wasn’t expecting a Rolex, but I was at least hoping for something halfway decent when I ordered it. I’m quite happily surprised at the quality and weight of this watch. I’m not a watch snob and in reality most people aren’t, so a good looking watch on your wrist is just a good looking watch on your wrist no matter the cost. I would absolutely recommend this watch and would happily buy another one if the need to replace it ever arose.

Happy with my purchase. The watch looks good and keeps accurate time. Be sure to buy a tool that takes out extra links in the bracelet if you have a small wrist.

This is a beautiful watch. I have other Armitron watches and find the stainless steel ones are consistent in the quality of their construction. This model will definitely draw praise for its looks.The price was very fair for what you get. This however, was the first one I have had with very notable noise issues. The band was noisy and squeaked as you move about. The ticking mechanism was very audible and could be heard across a quiet room so I had to put it away at night. As I saw another reviewer wrote, mine would also stop. For these reasons I gave just this one 3 stars. Still, overall, Armitron delivers value for the money and I would still consider other models as this was the only one I have ever had any issue with.Given past successes with the brand and just this one time issue, I would still recommend Armitron for low cost, decent, and nice looking watches.

I love the watch, but I wish that there is atleast 2 more links with the bracelet of watch. Because its a little tight on my wrist but if someone has a wide wrist, then it won't fit it. Arrived on time. The box is nice. I will definitely recommend the watch as well as the seller. Thanks!
