Loves these candies. A friend at work brought some in and I decided to order my own. Very disappointed that they are currently unavailable. I love the flavor combination.

Seems like they are very old and almost impossible to break them apart. And non returnable 🤷♂️ my loss I guess. WASTE OF MONEY.

I grew up in South Africa so we got a lot of British and British-inspired sweets. I distinctly remember Humbugs being very minty with a hint of butterscotch. These seem to be the reverse...not very minty and...chewy? Maybe they're just different in South Africa...

I had Humbugs the first time during a visit to Cornwall, fell in love with them. Couldn’t find them in the US. Did find them on Bolo. I am going to try each one until I find the one. These are very close.

I bought a tin in the Guilford Hall market in Bath, England. The image on the tin is shrunken and these are much larger than you expect. Mine are white and purple, not black and purple, and they have no licorice flavor. So I think they were either packaged with the wrong wrapper, or I got a bad batch where the licorice flavor ran out. Regardless, I love the black currant flavor and can only assume they would be fantastic if they were licorice flavored in addition. They last a long time if you suck them and they become chewy in a good way if you crunch them. ♥️ Maybe I have to order a second tin from England now. Sigh! 🙈

This is what humbugs are supposed to taste like. They are excellent, and I recommend them highly. I tried several other versions, and this brand is the clear winner.
