I made jowar chi roti or you can say Gujarati Rotla. These gluten free flat bread can wonders to your health. I have tried so many different brand here but nothing beats the jalpur brand. Flour is always fresh. Here are some tips you can follow.Rotla tips1. Make sure your flour is new and fresh. If it’s older than 2 moths don’t use that.2. Always use warm water. I put the water in microwave for 90 seconds.3. I highly recommend Jalpur brand flour which is available on Bolo might be available in Indian stores.4. Make soft dough not hard.5. For 1 cup of flour use 1 cup of warm water6. Kneed each dough ball before rolling or you can use tortilla press7. Cook on high flame8. For the first side keep it on tawa for 30 seconds then flip is and keep it for 1 min then again flip it. If they fluf up like roti then your rotla are perfectly cooked.9. Let me know if you have any questions10. If you’re using rolling pin then I’ll recommend using wooden lazy Susan it really helps ( that’s my personal experience)11. 1 cup flour = 1 cup water (for kneading dough)

I have purchased two of these. The first package was fine. The second pack contained small weevil-like bugs in it, which didn't hatch until a week or so after I got it home. I will not purchase this brand again.

I started using this as I have histamine intolerance, so ordinary flour is out of the question. I’ve made pancakes, wraps, sponge puddings and various other filling snacks with it. Mixed with a little salt, a splash of oil and water it microwaves up into a lovely topping for stewed fruit too.
Gute Alternative
Ich mische das Mehl meist 50/50 mit Dinkelmehl, damit kann man dann wie gewohnt z.B. Pfannkuchen oder Backwaren zubereiten. Geschmacklich ist es anders als mit normalem Weizenmehl aber mich stört es nicht, ich finde es sogar teilweise leckerer. Gerade bei herzhaften Speisen passt es sehr gut.

Bastante contento con el producto
Hacía tiempo que quería probar recetas con harina de sorgo y la verdad es que he quedado muy contento con la relación calidad/precio de este producto. La harina parece de buena calidad, el embalaje muy correcto y las recetas que he probado sustituyendo la clásica harina de trigo por esta harina de sorgo han salido estupendamente. POr mi parte muy recomendable.
