I’ve been looking for a loaf pan with lid that is big enough for my banana bread recipe (sugar and gluten free). This is perfect! My bread baked up beautifully in it and stayed moist because of the lid. Plus I’m not wasting foil or plastic wrap to cover up what I bake. I love the lid. It seems sturdy. I hope it lasts.

I have always used an earthenware bake pan and would have continued doing so forever if I had not made plans to bring a complicated dessert cake to my mother's house for dinner. The drawback of my current dish is that there's no lid and I wanted the luxury of being able to stack some items to carry them. I'm also in love with my beautiful dish and didn't want to risk it chipping or cracking in transit so I decided to look for one that had a lid. I'd been wanting one with a lid for a while anyway but with the rarity in which I need to travel with food I couldn't justify the purchase. Fortunately, this was a steal at $20 and from a brand that I trust, OXO.I love this and honestly, now I find myself exclusively reaching for this pan. It's much lighter for me to handle, which means it's easier for me to wash and I don't have to ask for help to get things in and out of the oven or to wash it in the sink. Another small step towards independence after suffering a life-changing injury in a car accident that affected my neck and lead to a weakening of my arms and hands (sometimes not having control).I love that if I make a cake or some treat that I don't have to go through aluminum foil or the like to store it. I just pop on the lid that comes with it and I'm done; very neat. There's enough clearance that I've never had any concern for it smooshing my food down. When it's half full I can even leave my spatula or other utensil in the pan with the food and seal the lid with ease.I prefer to hand wash things like this but the few times both the pan and the lid have gone through my dishwasher it's come out just fine.I have not tried transferring it from one temperature extreme to the other, but if I needed to, I wouldn't be shy about it. The pan, not the lid.I plan to buy more once I relocate and have more storage. I really wish they'd come out with this in a variety of sizes. If they did, I'd get rid of my current glass food storage system and use theirs exclusively.

Bought this as a gift. Great for a large lasagne or making enough food so there will be leftovers! First one arrived with the lid damaged unfortunately. Oxo products are, in my experience, always good quality and great value so put that down to a shipping issue.Like that it has a lid rather than having to use foil or plastic wrap.

I got this to bake things in. The included sealing lid works great for sweet treats that sit out on the counter like brownies. The lid keeps things fresh while adding value to the dish since you don’t need to waste cling wrap or foil. The glass is the good kind that handles high temps better and is super versatile and easy to clean. I recommend buying the other OXO glassware items to minimize the storage footprint and keep things matching. Grab it for yourself or as a gift, you won’t regret it!

I have certain recipes I make which will ALWAYS require me to make extra to give to others. This dish has allowed me to have an additional set to use, and I love how the lid fits perfectly! I can use this dish for multiple recipes, so it's versatile, and it was definitely worth the price. The handles help with carrying, and it is thick and sturdy. You will not regret the purchase!

I bought this pie holder years ago and have been using it with no problem…until my husband dropped the lid and it cracked almost in half. The lid is very flimsy and I was always careful with it but now it is just a regular old pie pan. The glass pan is awesomely thick and well made. Holds big pies, that’s one reason I liked it. I’ll still use the pan of course but will be getting something different that won’t shatter too easily. The price dropped, which if I got it, I’d get it now. It was way too expensive before that for the poor quality of the lid. If you get it, be careful with the lid.

I am so happy that I got this bakeware to make my week night chili egg casserole. I don’t worry about chemicals leaching into my food while baking it in high heat nor in the fridge containing my acidic food. Feels good to have a trusted product in my life.

Nice deep pie dish with great price
I don't like baking in tin, always afraid of stuff leaching into the food and I needed a pie plate with a lid. I figured glass plus lid would be perfect for my needs and it is! I couldn't be happier with this dish. The depth is quite a bit deeper than a regular shallow pie plate which means you can make many other things. The lid is made of a strong durable plastic that has little clips on each side to hold it on. I'm going to order another one so I can still bake while this one is in the fridge :)
Love this dish
Haven’t used it for baking yet but using it in the freezer for my homemade ice cream and love it. The size is ideal, the handles are great and the lid seals airtight. Great product.
Great dish
This is a perfect loaf pan. If you were making meat loaf, the lid is perfect for storing any leftover. I use it for making homemade bread and it's the perfect size. I liked it so much, I ordered another one.

Ich konnte den Artikel leider nicht testen, da irgendjemand bei Amazom es für eine gute Idee hielt, eine GLASSCHÜSSEL mit PLASTIKDECKEL ohne jegliche Füllstoffe/Schutz in einem zu großen Karton zu verschicken. Artikel kam defekt an.
