I've had my original "vise grip" for years and years - the same size as the largest in this this set. And I'm sure I paid more for that one tool than for this entire set and these are at least as good if not better in quality. The smaller sizes and longnose shapes are really versatile as clamps if you don't over-crank them.Along those lines, the teeth are these grips will chew the heck out of nuts and bolts if you over tighten them. The solution obviously is don't use more force than you need. But if you're dealing with exposed fittings and connectors, I stick a piece of cloth in the jaws (I can double of triple the thickness if needed) to protect the faces of what I'm gripping.Great value for a set of tools that will last a lifetime.

If your looking for the highest quality tools, this buy isn’t for you. That being said for what you get, you get a decent beginner set of locking pliers.The upsides, made of ok metal that doesn’t easily bend overall, they are adjustable, come in a variety of sizes, and do lock and release fairly easily when you want them to. Also they are way cheaper in price compared to the name brand, allowing you to buy the whole set for about the same as one name brand one (at the time of buying).The downsides. Though they don’t bend overall, the narrow “needle nosed” set isn’t the best as the jaws don’t line up when in the locked position making it useless in several applications, as they will twist, causing the gap to become wider and losing grip. Also all the pliers are not made of the highest quality metal and on several occasions I have crushed the teeth on the jaws smooth from simply using them. This has even happened when using them to grip some softer metals.Overall based on the price I purchased the set at, it was worth the money, due to getting a variety of sizes, and being decent enough to use for simple, non imperative tasks. So if your looking to get a cheaper set for someone just starting fill out their toolbox, or need them only for simple applications, then this should do the job.

An sich sind die Zangen okay. Sie kamen aber noch vom Herstellprozess komplett Öl verschmiert an. Die Reinigung war nervig und hat lange gedauert trotz richtiger Reinigungsmittel. Sowas ist eigentlich unnötig
