Some may say that the case seems lightweight, but modern materials are *made to be just as strong while being thiner and lighter weight, so don't let that deter you!I have been using, upgrading and repairing my own computers (as well as those of friends and family) since 1980 - and I am very picky about how I spend my money. I choose this SSD for it's relative speed, which is on par with everything else except the most expensive "cutting edge" models, as it went into a machine that is just a daily driver, not something I am expecting to be the worlds fastest.I also choose it because, even though it's being used for general day to day computing, I can not stand failures due to sub-standard hardware, and Kingston's products are very reliable! Kingston's length of warrany on this SSD bears this out.I bought this a few months ago, and it has not given me any trouble at all.It is very fast (especially compared to even the fastest mechamical hard disks).Very easy install, even for a novice.Great Warranty.I guess it would be better if it also cleaned the bath tub for me, but I suppose that would be asking a bit much, because most people don't enjoy clraning the tub, so it's safe to assume SSD's find it every bit as much of a pain in the back, right?Thanks for reading my review. I have three of these that I’ve purchased, they are between 2-3 years old, and after all this time all three still write well above 450MB/s and just below 500MB/s (transferring large ISOs slow it down a little, nothing bad though) as advertised.They are sturdy and reliable, run very cool, and I’ve had zero issues with these in the 2-3 years I’ve used them.I recently took one out of an old Dell (A10 APU laptop that was 10 years old) and use it as a spare drive in my desktop now and it formatted and everything just fine. It flies through all tasks I give it running Dev Drives with Dev Home on Windows 11 Pro Dev Channel and all Linux operations are superb. I even put it through a test benchmark yesterday and it never passed 57 degrees (and I was pushing it hard). Excellent drives that have delivered. I still prefer Crucial for larger capacities, but do not underestimate these, the price/performance ratio is superb.

Bought this product so I could breathe new life into a slower computer and I'd say it did the trick. My moms computer now boots up considerably faster and, with the addition of a dedicated video card, works flawlessly. An excellent choice if you need to give an old computer a pick-me-up!

Artículo que apoya en la revitalización de equipos de cómputo con discos mecánicos. A lo que entiendo. Este es el segundo aire de equipos, que permiten velocidades rápidas de inicio de sistema operativo. Debajo de opciones más rápidas pero no por ello desdeñables. Buen producto, proceso de instalación sencillo. Necesita cable de conexión a tarjeta madre si no se cuenta con uno disponible o se planea en paralelo con otro disco de almacenamiento. Buena compra

Ótima compra. nenhum PC hj em dia deve ficar sem um ssd. Isso dá um boost de desempenho insano na maqui a, por mais modesta que seja. Excelente investimento. Funciona até hoje muito bem.
Chegou funcionando
1ª escrita (06/07/2022):Há muitas reclamações sobre esse produto. 2% das avaliações afirma que com cinco meses de uso o ssd apresenta defeito mortal (simplesmente não responde a comandos e vira um peso de papel). Acabei de receber o meu e instalarei na sexta-feira 08/07 com ajuda de um amigo.Terei o compromisso de vir aqui uma vez por mês (ou mais) atualizar outras pessoas que estão de olho no mesmo produto, se vale a pena ainda. O que recebi na minha casa é um ssd novo, original e funcionando, vendido pela loja ORBITINFO (ele foi verificado pelo software oficial do fabricante).2ª escrita (30/07/2022):Fim do primeiro mês, ssd funcionando perfeitamente. O computador liga com 10s, o que é extremamente rápido, se comparado com meu antigo hd (ele tinha 62600h de uso aproximadamente). Instalei algumas coisas no ssd, e por isso a vida útil dele caiu de 100% para 99%. Algo que é importante ressaltar é que ssd são velozes, mas tem "vida útil", enquanto hds são lentos, mas são virtualmente imortais - se sua intenção for comprar um ssd para editar vídeos/fotos, tenha ciência de que o ssd suporta no máximo 3000 ciclos de gravação (basicamente, conforme uma das fotos que postei aí, se o ssd tem 480gb, a cada 480gb de NAND writes ele perde 1% da vida útil, e vai ficando mais lento conforme se aproxima do 75%)3ª escrita (24/08/2022):Fim do segundo mês, ssd continua funcionando perfeitamente. O computador agora demora um pouco mais pra ligar, por causa do tempo de uso (12s), mas a diferença é irrizória. Conforme dito antes, instalei steam, epic e matlab no ssd, e nesse mês a vida útil dele caiu de 99% para 98% (por algum motivo que não sei, parece que há algo "escrevendo sozinho" no ssd, ocupando memória automaticamente. Estranho demais). A diferença é absurda em jogos - loadings, principalmente - os jogos que testei foram assassins creed 2 (na uplay), metal gear solid 5 (na steam) e TWD da telltale (na epic) e a diferença é enorme. Vale a pena demais o investimento.4ª escrita (01/10/2022):Fim do terceiro mês, ssd continua funcionando perfeitamente. O computador estabilizou no tempo de ligar em 12s. Nesse mês tive de instalar alguns softwares para a faculdade e a vida útil dele caiu de 98% para 97%. No geral não tem muito o que falar, funcionando perfeitamente e é um investimento que não me arrependo. Embora tenha pago 300 reais "em promoção" facilmente encontra-se esse mesmo ssd nessa mesma loja mais barato, incluindo o preço do frete.5ª escrita (12/11/2022):Fim do quarto mês, ssd continua funcionando perfeitamente. A vida útil dele caiu de 97% para 96%. Se manter a mesma proporção de perda da vida útil até o final da vida útil dele, temos 100 meses pra utilizar o ssd (o que nos dá em torno de 8 anos e uns quebrados).6ª escrita (11/12/2022):Fim do quinto mês. Ao contrário do que algumas avaliações disseram, o ssd não parou de funcionar com cinco meses. O uso dele está ótimo ainda, vida útil caiu para 95%. Se manter esse ritmo, de cair 1% da vida útil por mês, tem ainda muito tempo para aproveitar a velocidade do ssd. Mais uma vez, vale total a pena o investimento, e no meu pc coloquei ele em um suporte feito em impressão 3d, da empresa "neoimpressao3d". O suporte não vem com os parafusos, mas o preço é muito mais em conta que os suportes de alumínio que existem por aí (dá pra improvisar a fixação com qualquer parafuso)7ª escrita (03/02/2023)Início do sétimo mês, o ssd ainda continua top demais. veloz e parou de "perder memória" atoa. Vale o investimento. Estou a procura agora de uma memória ram top, pra aumentar o poder do pc. A placa mãe dele aguenta até 16gb, dois pentes ddr3 (não pretendo trocar a placa, tanto por preguiça quanto que esse pc é da casa, não é meu). Após, é encontrar uma placa de vídeo bacana - a que tenho é uma gtx650 - e mudar o processador, que é um i3 de 4ª. Ah, e press F to pay respect pelo meu antigo hd de 62000h de uso, ele foi de jacksons five. Essa será a minha última escrita para esse produto, espero que esse review seja de utilidade para alguém.
