The Lasko CD08200 is a small, white, portable ceramic space heater that is specifically designed for home bathroom use. Even though it’s designed for bathroom use, this heater can be used anywhere in the house or apartment to eliminate cold spots and save you from the added expense of turning up the whole-house thermostat on chilly days and nights.
The heater comes with an integrated ALCI safety plug (a device that shuts off power to the unit in a fraction of a second in the event of a short). It’s also ETL Listed and comes with Automatic Overheat Protection, a self-regulating ceramic heating element, and an exterior that stays cool to the touch – taking the worry out of using the heater for long periods of time.
Powered by an energy efficient 1500-watt ceramic heating element with 3 heat settings, this little heater puts out a lot of heat. Say goodbye to stepping out of the shower during the cold winter mornings and feeling chilly as you dry off as this small & mighty heater heats up the bathroom fast. Now, after using it for over a year without any problems, it has proven its value to me in cost, performance and reliability. This Lasko CD08200 Small Portable Ceramic Space Heater was a replacement for an older heater of a similar type and power rating that had simply lost its heating effectiveness after decades of use. It is always cold in my 6 ft. x 9 ft. basement bathroom, requiring some fortitude when stepping out of the shower. Hence a heater had become a necessary appliance there. Ceramic heaters produce plenty of heat for their size and are a great choice for bathrooms, making this unit appropriate for that purpose. I typically operate the heater for about 30 minutes per day, mainly during the cooler weather months. But even in summer, the heater will eliminate the chill of air conditioning which makes the basement bathroom quite cool then, as well. I found the information provided here by the manufacturer to be comprehensive and accurately describes the product and its usage in every detail. This is a great little space heater for a bathroom or other small area. It's relatively quiet, it's powerful enough to warm up the room in a matter of minutes, and seems well built. Have used it almost daily for a month or so and it's working perfectly. The price is right. It has automatic shut-off if you accidentally leave it running too long.

I own several Lasko fans and heaters. Dependable brand and great product.I have vaulted ceilings throughout my home including my kitchen. During the Winter I avoid the kitchen like the plague because it's so cold. As one does have to cook and feed the family, I decided to get a couple of these to warm the room.This little heater is a gem. It's small, aesthetically nonintrusive, & heats quickly. It's lightweight and can be moved around easily. Very quiet.The top has a nice feature. It's a large round circle that you press with your palm, and it starts up. There are three settings: one hour, high and low.I keep two of these going while I cook. Between these and the oven my kitchen is much warmer.There is a paper tag attached to the cord which does not remove easily. Usually, these tags can be cut or peeled off, but this one is stuck (literally) like glue. Pretty unsightly. I simply wrapped it tightly around the cord and taped it. Not ideal nor the most attractive, but better than having a loose tag. A tag that can be removed is recommended to the manufacturer.Other than very pleased, good product.

Perfect to warm up the bathroom. Good size and has a long power cord which is great! The only thing it needs is a handle as it gets hot and I have to move it after use. Otherwise, I would give 5 stars.

My central heat went out during this "arctic" weather and I needed to get another spare heater. I Chose this one because I have one I bought four years ago and it's done a Great job all this time. I Love the simple tap button on top! I don't have to bend over to adjust it, just tap with my foot n it's done! It's a great lil heater. It came only in it's box with no padding, but was not damaged. It runs quiet. I have one for my bed n bath then another for my kitchen/dining room area and even with single digit weather they've kept up pretty good!!

This little dynamo does its job very well. We set it on the bathroom counter, point it toward the shower-but not in the way of any water spray-and it heats up the exit area nicely. We have had a floor heater for many winters in the past, but it was always in the way of opening drawers, or just moving around the bathroom. This little heater can be set up when we are showering, and then put back on the shelf when we are done. Perfect for a smaller bathroom!

This unit is simple, powerful enough for the purpose, attractive (for what it is), and did I say that it was simple. Tap the top of the unit with your foot and you get 1 hour of heat. Tap again to be high and again to get low and again to turn off. That's all it does. 1 hour, low, high, and off. Soooo much better than the ones that require all sorts of tapping just to get it to blow out some heat.I shut off the vent to my bathroom to save money. As a result the bathroom is pretty cold. I turn on the heater to the 1-hour setting a few minutes before showering and the room heats up. I take my shower. Get out to a nice warm room. Do the rest of my bathrooming. Tap the heater off with my toe and I'm done. If I forget to turn it off, it will turn off anyway because of the 1-hour setting.I'll reiterate my favorite feature. I love the 1-hour setting. One tap and I don't have to remember anything else. It shuts off after 1 hour. Simple as that. ... and it heats up my medium-sized bathroom within a few minutes.Has it revolutionized my life?No.But it the best solution I've found for a frigid bathroom that makes me feel both comfortable and safe.

I really like this heater. It warms up my bathroom pretty quickly, so I don't need it to keep the heater on. I put the heater on at least 15 minutes before using the bathroom. However, the plug does get hot. Also, the other problem is NO HANDLE!
