About this item:
A modern take on a classic American snack, EPIC Provisions Pork Rinds are made from a blend of antibiotic-free, non-GMO, organic, and pastured pork complemented with salt and pepper. They’re gluten-free, Paleo-friendly, and filled with an abundance of protein. Allowing more whole animal utilization, pork skins are an extension of EPIC’s Whole Animal Project, a “snout-to-tail” commitment to honor each animal sourced. What is a rind? A rind is a fried pork skin taken from either the belly or back of a hog. This skin is softer in texture and has more subcutaneous fat when compared to the shoulder. Additionally, pork rinds have very little meat cooked into the product. The end result is the perfect lightweight snack that melts in your mouth.

Good taste
5.0 out of 5 stars Shockingly good.
I bought these out of the warehouse because they were marked down so much. I'm not a huge pork rind eater but - because of the high protein low carbs - have experimented a few times for it as a snack. This flavor/brand blew my mind. Perhaps part of the reason was because my expectations were so low but it was immediately satisfying on every level. I'm not sure I'd buy them regularly at the higher (listed) price. It's pretty dam expensive for just a snack. But if they offered larger portions at that price or lowered it by 30% - I'd be a regular consumer.
4.0 out of 5 stars Crispy, tasty low carb snack
This is a crunchy low carb snack that is quite tasty. I tried their baked ones, but they are really hard and too crunchy, to the point of almost hurting your teeth. So beware of buying the wrong one. These come in salt and pepper flavor or barbecue flavor. Both are tasty. These cost a lot considering the low weight, but I haven't found them anywhere else for less.
5.0 out of 5 stars So yummy!
They sell these at my job so when I found them on Bolo I was so exited!! I bought 2 bags and will buy more!
3.0 out of 5 stars Dry, Airy and Light
If you like your rinds / chicharrones light and airy (what they call in Puerto Rico "volao"), then you may enjoy these. I found them to be too light and airy, lacking density for my taste.
5.0 out of 5 stars Epic Artisanal Pork Rinds, Sea Salt & Pepper, 2.5 oz
THESE ARE QUITE good, the only complaints is that a little to much black pepper but other then that really good flavor, very few hard pieces which is a plus to me, but the bag is pretty small
5.0 out of 5 stars Best brand, best taste
Other pork rinds are not sourced as well. This is a mixture, but still, having pastureraised pork is very important as anything else tends to be high in omega 6 which over time is inflammatory and dangerous. The flavor is like butter!!! It’s amazing, I even used the rinds to make a cheesecake crust...it was divine! I have this on subscription.
1.0 out of 5 stars Vile Flavor at Bottom of the Bag
Epic represents as a top tier purveyor of meat snacks. I've had some of their bars. They were fine. This was the first time I tried the pork rinds and chose the Pepper flavor. There was a disgusting, burnt, chemical taste in the bottom of the bag. The top seemed ok, but when I got to the last 1/5th, I took a bite, spit it out, and couldn't get that flavor out of my mouth for some time. Did I get a bad bag? I don't know, and I don't care, I'll never buy their pork rinds again.
Good but I've had better
This is a decent pork rind but I still prefer the one from Crackle & Co. The pepper seasoning for this one is a little overwhelming.
