5.0 out of 5 stars This is a fantastic product that works

This is my go-to everyday product to use for pain in my knees. When I put this on, my knee pain goes away. It is a wonderful product, has a great smell, and is well worth the buy. I highly recommend it and will continue to purchase this product.

5.0 out of 5 stars The BEST topical product of it's kind for sciatica!

    E.M.D. · September 16, 2024

For me, this works on sciatica and muscle pain better than any other topical product I've used. It's also very moisturizing. The scent in wonderful, and I've found this to be the only balm of it's kind. I have a lot of numbness and tingling due to sciatica and a cyst, and this really makes a very positive difference for me as I go through the challenges that brings I'm also in PT and this helps on those days when everything seems to flare up. When you scoop it out, it's more of a solid, but when you apply it to your skin, it melts into an easy balm to apply. A little goes a long way, so this should last you a while. Love this. Highly recommended!

I've been using this product for about 3 month and can say I really enjoy using it. Its coconut oil and essential oils, simple. Its smells AMAZING. Its not anything like your typical over the counter remedies that smell very strong and only contain menthol as the active ingredient. Frankincense and Myrrh create a deeply woody scent that's warm and soothing, without being overpowering. As a person with autism, scents can really trigger me, but the potency of this product is perfect. I will not claim that these herbs are a miracle cure for pain, but the simple act of massage is a big factor here. Take the time to apply this product, rub it in, get your partner to give you a leisurely massage or do it yourself. For nerve pain, I can confirm this product DOES help as a massage agent. AND you really can use this (externally!!!) anywhere. I use it on my hands, I use it on ageing sensitive skin, I use it on my heels are a bath. I also sometimes put in on the ends of my hair for extra conditioning. I have used to plain old coconut oil for many years and having the added essential oils is a huge bonus.

Had silicone thumb joint replacement 15 or so years ago and the silicone has broken. The ordeal involved 6 weeks of a cast from tips of fingers to elbow, so do not intend to do again. Recently, my hand has developed some swelling and pain, making it difficult to: drive, slice vegetables, put on socks - the list goes on. After several weeks of ongoing mix of despair and anger, this Wise Men Healing Balm popped up somewhere and seemed worth a try. Now, the issue may have been nearing a natural healing, but the pain had not abated. After the first day of using the this balm, the pain receded and, while still in full force if I’m unwise enough to lift something too heavy or otherwise throw caution to the wind, my hand feels better every day. This balm is waxy, but melts readily for rubbing into places needed. Seems this will last a good while but I will buy again if it runs out.

3.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful product, but …

    M.M. · September 2, 2024

This is third time buying this product. It is a very effective topical treatment for leg and back pain. Only a small amount of the balm is needed for application so one container lasts a month or more. This jar arrived six days ago with a large air pocket beneath the surface. The almost new jar is now just over half full. I won’t be returning the product because it is necessary for treating daily for pain and can’t do without it. I will definitely purchase this again in the future, but I am just disappointed that an unintentional hidden air pocket took up space, reducing the full amount of product purchased. How do I contact the owner/company outside of Bolo to explain this?

5.0 out of 5 stars It Works! And it smells good!

I am so glad to have found WISE MEN BALM! I have shared it with the men in my life. My husband was having issues with his feet. He absolutely loves it! And I no longer smell that foot odor when he comes to bed. My Apostle is also a over-the-road truck driver. I shared it with him and he told me he before he got it he was dealing with pain in his legs during his down-time. Now he uses it before going to sleep and he's able to sleep through without being awakened with pain. I'm not a man, but I use it also!!! I had a severe pulled hip muscle and could not walk because of the pain. Over-the-counter pain meds did nothing for it. I started applying the balm every few hours and in a couple of days I'm up and moving again. Oh and it is a great facial mosturizer...just keep it away from your eyes! Don't use too much because the essence of the oils are concentrated and can irritate the eyes if too much or too close. And don't worry if it liquifies on you....it's still good!!! I keep my jar in a plastic bag so none goes to waste.

I can't explain how I feel when I smooth this over my skin. It feels like liquid gold. I enjoy the slightly greasy feel and I especially like the shine on my skin. The fragrance is so lovely. Knowing Myrrh and Frankincense was gifted to baby Jesus just makes it more special. I put some in a tiny screw jar that I use for lip balm. Mine came solid like my coconut oils but I keep my home cooled. I prefer it solid and it melts instantly when I rub it in. Pure heaven. Benefits? Don't know and don't care. It feels amazing.

I love the combination of frankincense & myrrh for pain relief. I use it mostly on my right hand and forearm. I have carpal tunnel syndrome and after using Wise Men healing balm I won't feel any pain for a few days. I sometimes use a wrist support so that I don't bend my wrist while sleeping which helps too. I've also used it on lower back pain. It is kind of greasy but absorbs easily into the skin. I only have to blot it slightly to make sure it doesn't transfer to my clothes. I'm also gift containers to family members for Christmas gifts. What better gift for someone who needs pain relief?

So, first I will sort of explain what's happening to me. Then I'll talk about how it helps and why.So, it all started 2 years ago for me. I was sleeping and all of a sudden I woke up with my hands numb like crazy. I thought that I had just fallen asleep on them and I would be fine. But when it didn't go away for 20 minutes I knew something was t right. However, I just let it go for a week. After a week of my hands going numb while in deep sleep I started to worry. Like, this is not going away not is this normal. I thought it had something to do with my body not being able to process any vitamins. I'm also anemic so I thought it might be that. Turns out it's not. So,a week and a half goes by and I shot up out of bed crying. Now it wasn't just numb. It was hurting so bad I thought my thumb and index finger were cut right out. It literally felt like my thumb and first finger had been sliced off. That's how bad it hurts and I'm not exaggerating. Like the worst pain ever and I've given birth. It's worse than that. All I could do was put my hand on the knee and leave it there while I rocked back and forth crying. It was numb and I couldn't finger out why it's doing what it's doing. I was so scared. I thought maybe I had a blockage in my arm? Like am I going to have a heart attack? I was terrified! So I went to the doctor. I got all kinds of tests, nothing. In the long run my doctor said I have neuropathy. I think it's my neck? The pharmacy technician told me that's what it could be so I go tell my doc that. He sends me for a test. Tells me we will talk about this next time but you do have a problem with the neck but it's not an emergency or anything. It's nothing we can fix. So the next appointment comes up and I mentioned this. He then tells me, no, you have nothing wrong with the neck. I'm confused at this point. So if it's not the neck WHY DO I HAVE NEUROPATHY AND WHERE IS IT COMING FROM?? It's been two years now and I still don't have those answers. All I know is at night after I sleep, like maybe 2 or 3 hours in I will then wake up and my hands will be so bloody sort it's unbelievable. It's at the point now where it's shooting up my arm and I didn't know what to do. I tried CBD. I tried all kinds of rubs. I even tried the pain Pills and I don't want to be like that. Last thing I want is to get hooked on that stuff. I don't want to die. I love myself so I'm NOT taking that road! Ever! My best friend died in my arms because of that shi.... Stuff...so anyways, I ended up trying all the rubs I could find. I tried it for 1 week. If it helped I would try for two weeks. (2 rubs I had work for a week and a half but stopped working) I also tried something called Nervive and that does help BUT it's a pill 😭 I don't want pills!!! At all!! But I had to I was in so so much pain and didn't want anything that got me stoned or whatever. So I do take gabapentin 300s but like I said, I don't like taking that stuff. So once again I'm back at looking for rubs. So, after 2 years of trying different things and having it get worse and worse, I tried this rub.So, with this rub it doesn't take all the pain away BUT it takes away enough of the pain where I can finally go back to sleep! It's been months that I haven't had a good schedule because I can't sleep. That's rough. So with this rub I'm hoping to get that schedule back. It's been a week and it's working still. If anything changes and it stops working I will come back and update. But for now this IS working. It doesn't take all the pain away but I do think logically. I know that NOTHING is going to take all the pain away. So like, I knew it wasn't going to take it all away but I am surprised it's working at all because no rub has worked yet. So, if you have neuropathy in your hands , your hands go numb with pain and then your thumb and first finger feel like it's been severed then try this rub. It could work.If it doesn't just gift it to someone with pain. Give them a sample. If it works give them all of it. Just don't give the full jar to anyone. First give them some and see if it helps. Because chances are you will find someone that could use it.

    Very nice balm

Arrive next day and it works well, pleasant aroma

    Heals and softens.

    J.B. · November 25, 2023

The smell of the essential oils is calming as I massage my feet with this. It softens my feet and takes away the aching before I go to bed every night.

Smells great, not sure if it works

    S. · June 29, 2024

The smell is great and it's a good massage oil. Not sure if it actually works for the pain. It does use a coconut oil base, so it's very "watery" in summer and more solid is cooler weather.
