This was extremely easy to install in our apartment. The silver part is actually plastic, and feels flimsy, but works totally fine once installed. The biggest benefits have definitely been for my hair and skin. I feel less of a build up / residue after using this filter. I’m going on six months and it’s still going strong.

The wand is a light weight plastic cheap looking chrome. The water spout settings are not of good quality either. When you turn the dial it's nearly impossible to get a "normal" shower flow. I actually have to slap the head of the wand to get the water to flow normal. I do love the intense massage stream for sore muscles, hosing down the shower and washing my pups. Overall I like the filtration system but the manufacturer needs to upgrade their wand ASAP. Before I purchased the filtration system my bath water was BROWN! All residents received a notification about contaminants and persons with autoimmune disease and/or the elderly needed to seek medical attention. My son and I both have autoimmune illnesses. I will definitely keep buying this product and I hope the manufacturer replaces the wand because it is truly horrible.

We ordered two of these full products with the extension head included. While there are some pros and cons to speak of; imo, the pros significantly outweigh the cons to the point where I can feel comfortable giving it a five star review. Primarily this is because we purchased them shortly after the cold weather and snow hit across Texas, leaving millions without power, hundreds of thousands without water, and pretty much everyone was put under boil water notices. While we were one of the few lucky ones to have kept our power/water, we did have to boil our water until Prime delivery could get these products (plus a few others) to make the process less daunting. We only had to use these for a couple days before our city was able to get our pipes fixed enough to lift the boil water notice. At first I thought it was a waste of money but as I continued using it for daily showers, I began to notice a substantial improvement in the previously exorbitant amount of dead skin from the heavily treated water. I also thoroughly cleaned our showers after the boil notice lifted, and a month later there’s still no aggregate mildew, lime or heavy residual water deposits! I didn’t even know that our city has such a heavily treated water system until I got curious enough to read the environmental report from last year that stated that our drinking water was above standards for cleanliness, however it also said that this was primarily due to the number of high level chemicals used to treat it. These chemicals apparently have a tendency of accumulating on the surfaces of sinks/showers/grout etc., as well as can cause excessively dry skin! Thankfully this product was just what we needed to overcome a problem that we didn’t even know existed! As for the cons, whether it is the direct shower head or the extension head, it is located directly adjacent from the large filtering system. This unfortunate placement was something of an oversight I’m assuming since you can’t adjust it to fit the specifications of your shower stall or tub. The good news is that it came with adapters that allowed us to continue using our original extension head which is separate from the primary head and therefore can be placed at our discretion for optimal directional control of our water output. Our upstairs shower however didn’t have the separate extension head, so that one sprays outward from a very high angle to the opposing side of the tub shower. Additionally the water pressure with the included head wasn’t that great. That said, I’d definitely recommend the filtering system without the additional head attachments. Just get the adapter for an extension handle or an adjustable head.

1.0 out of 5 stars Really loved this initially but the quality doesn't hold up
Purchased this product in July of 2023 and at first everything was great, love the different pressure options, easy to install, easy to replace the filter, etc. About three months in we noticed that the shower head setting that created the widest flow was glitching and coming out as a hard stream of water. We tried to fix it in different ways, cleaned it well, troubleshooted and just put up with it being annoying for a while. In May of 2024 I finally broke down and called the company and they sent a replacement showerhead free of charge - which worked great, for three months, and now is doing the exact same thing. I seriously wish this product would just work the way it is supposed to - very disappointed with the lack of consistent water flow and there's no fixing it so now we're out of warranty and just stuck with this showerhead that sucks. Do not recommend purchasing only for this reason.

The shower head is a light painted plastic with an equally light weight hose attachment. I would say it would be about 18-30 bucks if it were not a combined unit with the filter and the brand. I have been using the filter for many years separately with a Jonathan shower head unit without the hose and the performance of the shower head was declining and needed a switch. If it were not for the filter, I would not buy this combined unit and would prefer something with higher quality and more durable materials. I do not think this will last long.

The last showerheads I purchase order from Walmart and target leaked on me but this one didn’t it’s not super big or bulky and It’s not heavy it’s perfect for me and my little ones.

Great product but very heavy
Made a difference in the water quality, as judged by my hair and skin. Water flow (pressure) was slightly reduced but still acceptable. Big problem though: it's very heavy. It actually broke my pipe (old house) and I had to call a plumber to fix my pipe. I returned the filter because I just can't use it with our plumbing.

Bought 2 of these for my brother. He has had eczema all his life and finally realized it was the chlorine in the city water that was causing flare ups. Since using this filter for showering, his eczema has significantly decreased. We have a year of history with this product and feel it has made a significant positive difference. Very, very happy.
