Bought this after having back surgery since I can't bend over to pick up the poops. It has been a life-changer! It works really well and is very easy to use. You can even pick up multiple poops at once (we have 2 dogs); although, you may have to adjust the bag part way through, since it can get tucked in after a couple of poops. It is not as dexterous as using your hands, of course, and on the softer poops, it can sometimes leave a little on the ground, but I really don't think there's any way around that! All in all, a fantastic purchase and I would highly recommend.

Being disabled, this scooper saved me bending down to scoop up poo from a large lab. Works well with bag on outside then you don’t have to handle the bag. Liked the hot pink color.
4.0 out of 5 stars Great product, issue with roll dispenser, does what scoopers do
I purchased this specific scooper because it came with extra bags and a bag roll holder. More bang for your buck. Also the bags are biodegradable which is a nice feature. It's easy to use and very simple to assemble, I didn't have any issues figuring that out. Now my only complaint would be that the bags that came in the roll holder dispenser were literally shoved in so tight I thought I might need some lubrication to release them. I pulled and pulled and pulled on the bags to no avail. The size of the roll was too big to be forced into the insert portion of the dispenser, eventually after giving up and handing it over to my significant other, he was able to pull and pry the roll of bags out and we were able to take a few off and then reinsert the roll into the dispenser. Other than that minor hiccup the scooper does what scoopers do and if you put the bag over the mouth of the scooper you then have a mess free pick up. You don't have to stick your hand in a bag and have that glorious feeling of picking up your dogs waste. It's not exactly portable the size would be rather large to be taking on a walk with you. But in your yard it works just fine.

I recently had back surgery involving most of my spine and have limited mobility. I was worried about how I would pick up after my dog to avoid fines at my apartment complex and my physical therapist recommended a pooper scooper with bags like this. It is so easy to use and very sturdy. The bags are strong and do not rip, but they are so thick I have a little trouble tying them. Be advised, normal size bags really do not fit this scooper so you will need to purchase more of their bags or those of a similar width. Great value as it comes with bags to get you started and it also helped this set was on sale when I needed it. I am thankful for such a quality product during this time of my life.

First of all, this pooper scooper DOES actually do an awesome job at picking up poo..... and it is very simple to use..... However, my one and only main issue/ concern- is that you basically can only <EASILY> pickup 1 single pile of poo.... before the whole thing starts to get very complicated!! It's not so easy after the 1st poo... because it you are like me and like to pickup multiple poo's at the same time/ in the same setting.... and put them all in the same 1 <or 2> bags.... (as many poo's as I can fit....) - then don't expect this scooper towork like a breeze for you. Bc what happens is after scooping poo #1... I go to pickup poo #2, and when I open up the claw- poo #1 Falls back out on to ground while I'm attempting to scoop up #2.... So my solution to this issue, is to measure up my placement of claw just right, to where it's directly on top of Poo #2.. so when #1 falls back out- it will essentially fall on top of #2 and then I'll just picck themboth up at same time..So I continue to do the same steps for #3 and #4 piles.... HOWEVER - once I start to get into #4 it starts to get very difficult for me to line all the poos up when they fall- so I just have to tie off the bag and get another 1 to do the same steps.. so in the end I just really feel like I'm kinda wasting a lot of bags that I usually worldview do in reality. . . . AND mind you not these bags that come included with claw are a really big and nice size!!!! So that's why I THOUGHT I would actually be able to fit more poo in - and then use less bags in the end ... but it just has not been the case at all ....So maybe this claw would be best fit for smaller dog poo..... and less of it, as well..Also, one important Key note here :I have 2 German shepherd dogs.... (6 months and 4 months old)..I pickup there poo's all at the same time once or twice a day- every day!! So we're not talking about baby poops here..... lolHope this helps..I'd give it a 6 or 7out of 10...It's probably better if you're just planning on picking up 1 poo at a time honestly...

First I would like to say that I tried using this several times before writing this review. Upon receiving this, it came it two parts. Easy enough, one end goes in the other and presto. Unfortunately I never heard that satisfying "click" that we all know signifies that what ever we are putting together is secure and ready to use. This resulted in it returning to its original two pieces when trying to use it over a 3 day test run. It fell apart no less than 3 times each time I tried to use it. I would have to stop my Doody Duty, wash the dang thing off so I would at least want to touch it with gloves hands and then put it back together, never hearing the satisfying "click".When it actually stayed together long enough, it had zero gripping strength. I would have to lightly secure the droppings in the teeth and slowly shake until the claw would close, securing the puppy deposits inside and allow me to place it in the bucket I was carrying. This process would cause the dark matter to become lodged in the teeth of the claw forcing me to once again shake the droppings free, which would ultimately result in the damned thing falling apart again.Wash and repeat for an hour on a job that should have taken me 15 minutes.This also came with a little bone shaped clip bag holder and 4 rolls of poopy bags. This I liked. Those bags work very well on walkies. Unfortunately that is the only thing worth buying in this bundle.Don't waste your money. Buy a proper metal one and save some time as well.
