I bought these for everyday use and dishwasher safe. I have another set up steak knives but they have to be washed by hand and the wood can weather. These are durable and work well. I use these more because of the easier care.

Not sure how I'll like the very fine serrations on these knives. These are unlike others I've had and used in the past.The handles are classic 3-rivet that I trust, and fit/finish is quite acceptable.Finally, I've choosen to live alone (for the last 30 years) and I appreciate that, even though these were not expensive, I was able to buy 4 knives instead of a dozen or a bushel. I don't need more.

I read critical reviews that these knives were not sharp but they are very sharp. The instructions say do NOT put them in the dishwasher, so this may have contributed to dullness. IDK. They were very reasonably priced, so I am pleased with this purchase.

I ordered these because I needed a few extra steak knives for when company comes for dinner, but didn't want to spend an arm & a leg for them. I am surprised at how sharp these are at such a great price. They say these aren't recommended for the dish washer, but Ive mistakenly put them in my dishwasher a few times and they are perfectly fine. I think they are completely dishwasher safe.**Update** it’s been a few months that I’ve had these knives. At first they went through the dishwasher just fine, but now they all have rust spots on both sides of the blades and most of the time I hand wash them. I changed my 5 star rating to 3 stars because they are still sharp, they’re just not attractive to use, and I’m disappointed in Faberware for making knives of this quality.

These are supposed to be stainless steel knives. The first time I put them in the dishwasher they all came back rusted. It's disgusting because they look like they are covered in old food. Complete waste of money.

Been using these for around a month now and for the price they sit well in the hand and cut really well. I can’t comment on dishwasher safety as I don’t use one but in my opinion, for the spend they are a solid buy.
