About this item:
Official Racing Simulator for Xbox One and Windows. 900 Degree Force Feedback racing wheel. Realistic 11”/28 cm wheel. Large pedal set included. With its official embedded software, this racing wheel is automatically recognized by the Xbox One console and is compatible with the console's menus. PC compatibility (Windows 10/8/7/Vista) is ensured thanks to the THRUSTMASTER drivers available for download from our website. The drive system with adjustable Force Feedback lets you feel every detail while you're racing (the road or track's relief, loss of tire grip, braking, bumps and impacts, and more). The rotation angle is adjustable from 270 to 900 degrees. A mixed belt-pulley and gears system is smoother, more fluid and less noisy than helical gears, with a metal ball-bearing axle for enhanced sturdiness. The THRUSTMASTER TMX comes along side some very impressive technical specs: the end result is a high-performance wheel that is both solidly-built and precise, delivering unrivaled flexibility for gamers of all levels - from beginners to experienced racers - and on all types of racing circuits.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very good ffb wheel and pedals.
I only have experience with one other driving wheel, but it wasn't force feedback. This one gives you a much more realistic experience. It does a good job with Forza 6. You can feel the rumble strips, or when you drop a wheel off the track, and even when a tire breaks traction. Its very difficult at first, but after a while you can really push the cars to their limits. I tried the shift paddles once. They feel great. A very positive engagement when shifting. It is stressful to race with the manual tranny though. The only thing I can complain about(and this may be the case with even the best wheels....not sure) is that when driving perfectly straight, the wheel has about 1/4" of slop. You can turn ever so slightly and feel the motors engage the feedback. It gives the feeling of a loose pitman or idler arm. I'm still giving it 5 stars, because I think that's unavoidable. The finish is plastic. That is the number one complaint I read about, but I'm happy with it. If you don't like it, buy a sew on leather steering wheel wrap from walmart and do it yourself.Overall this was well worth the money if you think you be using it often. Also, I made my own stand to hold the wheel and pedals out of an old computer desk and aluminum angle. You'll need something to hard mount them too. You don't want the pedals sliding away from you or the wheel slipping off the table when you turn. It does clamp on to a table well.

Just want to start with Im not disapointed with my decision to buy this particular sim wheel. What im disapointed about is the lack of honest straight forward descriptions. So the weel itself is plastic or at least a plastic housing. Ok yeah it is just a toy. Wait a toy that if i place my hand wrong the force feed back could injure me? With plastic. So id say at least 98% of these sim racing wheels say there metal of somekind you know like a real car stearing wheel. Um the paddle shifters feel like there bending just from use. not to be cofused with overuse. The plastic break and gas pedals, (no clutch?) Actually feel really good theres no real sence of presure but there is restance so its not to bad but you cant really use one foot cause the adjustable plates on the pedals are wierdly big. Its almost like they had no idea what they where doing. The base of the wheel feels real sturdy and has a fair amount of weight to it. I guess its dual band and mabye a gear for the stearing and force feed back. It feels not at all like what i thought. In fact i kinda think i got a defective one. I mean it works as far as i can tell, but feals dry and like a out of aline gear. Kinda like half working power stearing. So this is probably the most important bit. Button maping? Yeah well no. Only if the game doses it in there options. As far as Assetto Corsa goes kinda as long as you use the buttons they allow but dont tell you. Its trial and error. So your left with 4 buttons that are double duty for the options menu and shifting up down. Why why why. This is only being used on xbox one s. Even though i hooked it up to my laptop to see the setting and was able to kinda get it to work good until i unpluged it from comp cause the save files dont go from comp to xbox. Or something like that. Blah... Problem is i cant fine tune it and i cant remap the buttons. For $299.99 you would think you would get these features since a 40$ controller can. Now you can set levals of options like ffb, cerb ffb, road ffb, (as far as asseto corsa) and none of witch really help you with a discription so you have to look it up on you tube, then it wont be for your exact wheel+game so youll round up/ down the values and hope for the best. If you have a family or roommates and you need to use headphones? You have to plug in to your controller and set it to not turn off. O wait i have yet to find this setting. so every few minuts itll shut off and lag your game. Unless you listen to music at same time you race. Oh and and probably the worst is there is secret" or hiden" settings. Now to me theses should be praised not hidden. You can download this info from thrustmaster. How to work the menu that chnges on the fly: like the degrees for the stearing. 270, 360, 6??, and 900 and the other is a sensativity setting. default, low, mostly low, and really superlow. Let me end this by saying all in all if you can get it right it plays really good and i would suggest this for a sim driver that is new to wheels but not new to sim games. Oh i almost forgot. The add ons, a choice of 2 triple pedal set ups with a forth as long as you can get the adapter plug. A shifter again same as pedals. And a handbreak except that one a mod and its going to be expensive. Not unlike the other 2 and the usb hub for conections cauae this wheel dosent have enough holes to plug these add ons in. And they actually cost more then the wheel peddle combo i paid for. So there it is in my words a proper discription.
4.0 out of 5 stars Good wheel for the money
For the money its a very good wheel. How long it will last will depend how good you take care of it. Input and output feel is good and it gives a decent simulation. There are adjustment for the force feedback as well. Fit and finish is good and feel is good. There are better wheels, but like I said, for the price this is a good wheel. This is my 2nd wheel in 3 years. I kinda beat on the first wheel a bit. It did last 3 years though. The first wheel I purchased at GameStop which came in mint condition. This 2nd wheel I purchased through Bolo, and they beat the crap out of the box during shipment. Some minor scratches on the wheel base and peddles. I would have thought the shipper would have put the item in another shipping box with Styrofoam and bubble wrap padding. So the blame is really on the shipper and not Bolo. Over all its a good wheel. I did upgrade the peddles to a 3 style clutch base.
5.0 out of 5 stars Big Bang For The Buck!
The thing that I love about TMX wheel is that it includes pedals and force feedback with a very reasonable price. The quality is second to none. I use it on PC and very impressed with it. The only problem I faced was with the power supply as I live in a country where 220v is required. The wheel's power supply is 120-125v. So, I had to buy an adapter/voltage converter for that. But I still give it 5 stars because I don't see any problem or flaws with it and built quality is awesome. I am not a race simmer but just a car enthusiast so I just needed a wheel for racing sims like Project Cars 2 and for the sake of using it in VR headset. Very simple to install the firmware and was almost like plug and play. I would recommend it for people who want to get into racing sims and this wheel is a good starter for them as it provides everything you need to start racing. Don't expect it to be the world's best racing wheel but It was the best valued racing wheel I could find. I hope I cleared everything:)
5.0 out of 5 stars Worth the buy
Had been considering buying this for a while. The ffb on this is great the wheel works really well on Forza and on assetto Corsa. definitely a learning curve but worth the money
Smooth wheel.
The wheel is smooth in movement and it is compatible with PC and Xbox.
And excellent wheel for the price
I've had the TMX for a few weeks now and am quite pleased, using it with Forza 6 and Project Cars. I upgraded from the 458 Spider wheel so don't have any direct comparison to other Thrustmaster FFB wheels. The build quality is quite good, although it's plastic with rubber grips vs. the leather and metal of other wheels. I compared it side-by-side to my son's old Logitech G27 and, while the build quality of the G27 is better, the feel is quite similar as far as smoothness of operation. The pedals are the exact same pedals that ship with the lower priced non-FFB 458 Spider wheel. They're adequate - smooth feel, progressive resistance on the brake, and adjustable angle on the pedals themselves. The knock against them is that the base is not heavy at all and must be anchored somehow to prevent sliding. I attached mine to my home-made rig with screws so no I have no movement issues. The wheel clamp is again the same as the lower priced 458 Spider. It works like it should - nothing else to say. When connected to the XBox the wheel does it's calibration thing and is recognized without issue by the console. It does not show up under "Devices" in the XBox settings menu but functions properly regardless. Force feedback is quite strong and defaults to 100 in Forza. I turned this down to 75 and it's much more manageable for me. Not sure how the FFB compares to a TX, but I assume it's similar. I believe the TX has a fan but I haven't seen nor heard one on the TMX. I've also read that the TX has a "sensitivity" setting; the TMX does not. Rotation defaulted to 540 in Forza and I played around with this, from 180 to 900. The wheel responded as expected, and I left it at 540 because it felt right for me. I haven't played long enough yet to notice any issues like the "pull left" problem that TX owners report in Forza. I also tried both Simulation and Normal steering settings in Forza and the wheel definitely performs better under the Normal settings.Overall, at this early stage, I'm impressed and pleased. The wheel feels good in my hands, the shifters provide a good "click" and the pedals are adequate. The entire wheel assembly feels solid, not "toy-like" as per the 458 Spider. The price ($269CDN) hits the sweet spot for me because I couldn't spend $500 or more on a wheel. I've also just upgraded to the Thrusmaster T3PA pedals which are a huge improvement over the stock pedals that come with the TMX, but that's for another review. Thrustmaster definitely put money into the wheel, not the pedals.I highly recommend this wheel. At this price it can't be beat.
Amazing wheel
Personally I have loved just driving around in video games and this wheel takes it to the next step it is very responsive a few tweaks in the wheel settings and it feels like you are a real racer on some games
