If you're starting to take this product be sure you understand the two types of lipoid acid version, type S and type R. Type R is the better of the two because the body absorbs and metabolizes it more efficiently. Easy to swallow and use. Which dosage you should use is between you and your doctor. Quite a few doctors still aren't up to par on its benefits. Your body makes it so that's a better piece of information to know. So far my feet are feeling much better and not in much pain at all. Good luck!

I really like this supplement, I can tell that I handle stressful events better and am more grounded when I take it, and I don't think it is placebo as I often have forgotten I took it and have to look back at what I ate and took to see what things have had positive impacts, and then find out it was probably ALA.There may be a correlation for me personally with taking this supplement and having an aching feeling in my gums and jaw, almost like there is extra fluid/blood in them or they are inflamed. It is a bit strange and kind of painful. It doesn't last too long and is easy to forget about though, and I am not totally sure this is the cause.

I take this daily for heart health. I am in good health so I cant really say how much it help. But with a few other supplements for circulation and general health, I am definitely doing a whole better than I was 7 years ago.
