Shouldn’t even be considered tape.Not sticking. I leave a taped up box, come home the next day and the tape is no longer holding the box together. Terrible product and seller for even sending this out

Call me naive, but seems like it used to be that brand names did mean something. And sometimes they still do. If you have a company with a good name, you do everything necessary to make sure you keep it. That's only basic business sense. If you are Heinz, your ketchup needs to be consistently really good every time, or people stop having a good feeling about your brand name. If you are Green Giant, you don't have big ol bean stems in your cans of green beans. While brand names aren't as important to most people as price these days, a good name is still an incalculable asset to a company. If you are a brand name company but need to compete at the bottom of the market, you give the budget product an off-brand name. You don't ruin your prestigious name by selling seriously mediocre products under your brand name.If you are 3M, the biggest name in adhesives, you don't make lousy tape. Except they did.This tape is VERY thin, has a very low thread count, the threads easily delaminate from the tape, and if you need to tear the tape by hand, it's very likely to mess up, tear down the roll instead of across, and otherwise complicate your taping experience.Now as far as the adhesive goes, it seems to stick well, but only time will tell.More expensive duct tape is more expensive for a reason. It's better tape.

We use duct tape all the time! We were at our cabin and bought some off brand duct tape that was so bad it wouldn't stick! Love this brand and will never buy an off brand again. Shouldn't have to for awhile since you get 3 in this package!

So, let's talk about this 3M Basic Duct Tape – the unsung hero of my household. You know, it's like the superhero in silver disguise, ready to swoop in and save the day!This roll of duct tape is basically the MacGyver of my toolkit. Need to fix a leaky pipe? Duct tape to the rescue! Broken umbrella? Duct tape, baby! It's like the Swiss Army Knife of the adhesive world.But here's the kicker – this roll is so massive; I'm pretty sure it could fix the crack in my self-esteem. I've used it for everything from mending relationships (just kidding) to putting up 'art' on my walls (don't judge).The only downside? It's so good that my friends borrow it and never return it. Maybe 3M should add a GPS tracker in the next version. Anyway, this duct tape deserves an Oscar for being the supporting actor in the comedy that is my life. Highly recommended – five stars, would stick with it forever!P.S. If you're still reading, maybe you need duct tape for your life too. Trust me; it's cheaper than therapy! 🦸♂️✨

I used the tape to seal packing boxes both plastic and cardboard. I have used this tape previously when moving and it worked as it should.

The tape tears easily by hand, which is super convenient, and it holds up well over time. The only reason it’s not a full 5 stars is that it could be a bit thicker for some heavy-duty tasks. Overall, it's reliable and gets the job done for most everyday uses. Definitely a great addition to any toolkit!
