I like to make chocolate covered candies occasionally. Used the various brands of 12 oz bags and they were okay. Decided to try these. They melt better, coat better and taste better. It's a whole lot of chocolate to buy at once, so it takes a while to cook my way through it, but I manage to do it. They're a little more expensive than the grocery store bags, but they are so worth it.

Wonderful chocolate!I have learned not to order chocolate when it starts to get warm. I live in North Carolina, and even though the seller marks the shipping box clearly (I forget the exact wording), the UPS drivers don’t pay attention. It’s in the back of a hot brown vehicle, and the driver puts it on the porch where the sun is scorching. I was at home and I saw him deliver it, so I went out to get the package. It was my 5 lb bag of chocolate. More than half of the chocolate was melted/liquid. No fault of the seller, and I can’t really put blame on the UPS driver because he/she is trying to make deliveries as fast as they can.Do what I do after that liquified chocolate experience. Buy your chocolate during the cool months.

I made a chocolate cream pie (using home made heavy cream) and sprinkled the top with these chips. So wonderful and everyone wolfed it down. I usually don't like semi-sweet chocolate, (prefer milk chocolate), but these are snacking good and smooth, not bitter at all. I tried them in choc-chip cookies, but they came out rather flat - probably the fat content in the chips was too high? btw - these are not shaped like regular chips - they are wider and somewhat flatter.

I bought the product and it arrived broken and melted. I can understand because it is chocolate and it is sent by mail, but almost the entire bag is unusable. The bag is not even opened and can be replaced, and to top it off the bag arrived broken. This is complete poor service.
