I have read a lot about the numerous and varied uses for Castor Oil Regardless of your intent, if you are looking to buy some, I can wholeheartedly recommend this product. It is nice and thick, odorless and a clear light gold color. You get a large 16 oz bottle, which is very economical. Personally, I use this oil on my brows. It makes the perfect brow gel, and according to anecdotal evidence on Pinterest and YouTube, it can even help regrow and thicken sparse eyebrows! I have not been using castor oil for this purpose long enough to tell you if it makes a difference; however, if you use a brow gel anyway, why not try one that might help thicken your brows at the same time? Because of its thick consistency, it does not drip, spread or make your face greasy, as you might fear an oil would do. I know some people also apply this to their lashes too to help them grow. I saw another castor oil product that was geared towards people looking to use it for cosmetic purposes, such as I described. You got a tiny tube of it for basically the same price you are paying here for a huge bottle. I cannot even fathom how long 16 oz will last me since I only use a little bit each day. To keep the product fresh, I decanted some into a smaller clean container. This way I can dip a spooly (mascarra wand) in to the oil to apply it to my brows, without contaminating the whole bottle.Update: After applying castor oil nightly to brows, they have grown in thicker! I barely need to use brow pencil anymore. Even the woman who threads my eyebrows commented that my brows had grown in more, and she didn't know I was doing anything different. Two thumbs up in my book! I am hoping with continued use sparse spots will completely disappear.

I usually don't write reviews unless I really have a lil gem that actually works. I bought this after looking for my go to eyelash serum. I had an unfortunate encounter with a lighter and singed my eyelashes on my right eye. Go ahead and laugh, I did after the horror wore off. I didn't know the lighter was set to dragon flame level and woosh, singed my eyelashes and a bit of my bangs. Castor oil kept popping up in my search for eyelash growth serum. Although I was initially just going to go with my usual lash serum, I did some research on castor oil and found it has many benefits. I'm happy to say that I love this product! A little bit goes a long way. I happened to have my old lash serum container which is a mascara like bottle. I cleaned it out very thoroughly and put the castor oil in the tube. I'm impatient and I have long lashes so I was anxious about the effectiveness of this product. It immediately soothed my eyes and my eyelashes are silky smooth. Fortunately, my eyelashes are in the growth cycle and after a week, my eyelashes and eyebrows are fuller and feel great. I purchased this brand because it's cold pressed and hexane free, which is the best kind to get (I love researching products!). I'm also using it on problem areas to see if it helps. It's an oil so it can potentially be very messy. If you're using it for your eyelashes, I highly recommend getting an empty mascara tube. I noticed it's helping with my dark circles and puffiness around my eyes. I use it in conjunction with my favorite eye cream. Also, I had a pesky stye in my left eye and it cleared up in two uses of this product. I love that it's safe for eyes and helps with dry eyes. The only downside is that if you use too much, it will get into your eyes and cause blurring. I have a bad habit of being heavy handed with new products. A little bit goes a long way and I have my technique down pat now. 4oz seems like a small amount, but like I said, it goes a long way! I'm glad I researched the benefits of castor oil and found this amazing brand! The package arrived completely sealed with no leakage. I'm pleased to say that my eyelashes are looking normal (just shorter on the right side LOL) and my eyebrows are looking less puny. I am going to use this for other skin problems as well. I'm so excited to have found a natural and inexpensive way to keep my eyelashes and eyebrows looking fabulous. I will definitely purchase more when I run out!

It's been a few weeks since I ordered this. The company did reach out to me asking how I like the product. I informed them I had not had ample time to provide feedback, but today I am ready to do such. I have had great results in the terms of using this product on my eyelashes and eyebrows, I put it into a vial with a mascara wand and use it that way. It does not burn my eyes which I was worried about but no longer am, again it does not burn my eyes. I have noticed my eyelashes seem a little thicker as I do not always wear mascara on days off of work so I am able to notice a difference, Now on my eyebrows a very slight difference but not enough for me to Rave about (yet). As I mentioned, my eyelashes they do seem a little thicker as I am not wearing mascara. I do highly recommend this product and I will again order this product from the same company once I am needing more. The bottle was a good size so it will be a while. I hope to learn of more products from this company since this one was a success. Also the reason I put (yet) referencing my eyebrows, it's because I haven't been consistent in putting on as I have my lashes. I only put on top lashes as the oil will penetrate to bottom when blinking or sleeping.

Castor oil has a bit of a smell that I don’t like. I think it just may be the way it is naturally. This is the second brand of castor oil I have gotten and it is better than the last one. The smell isn’t as strong but it still smells. It does work for me as intended.
