Received my new Mudmaster, and it is awesome. Huge, but awesome. The function, fit, and quality of this line of watches is great. I never thought I would buy a more expensive G-Shock as the others I own are great, but this one is steps ahead. The compass feature works, there are all of the world’s time zones, and it looks amazing. The ONLY downside, is the black digital display is a little hard to read.Now, the seller. The watch was Prime, scheduled to arrive in two days. Nine days later, my watch showed up. It wasn’t an issue with shipping, it didn’t get placed for shipment until later, so it was on the seller. The box it was shipped in was perfect, but the Casio box was heavily damaged, telling me that it was placed in the shipping box that way. The metal box the watch came in wasn’t damaged in any way, but it was a let down the actual Casio box was. There were also fingerprints on the back of the watch case, so the watch had been handled by someone before it arrived to me. Maybe it was a return, maybe not, I don’t know.All in all, I love the watch and it is my new go to for everyday wear. However, the seller could have done a much better job in getting me my new watch, in a like new box, in new condition.

Even though this watch is large, it wears very comfortably on the wrist. I looked at various renditions of the Mudmaster but found this one the most visually appealing of them all. The indices illuminate after being exposed to a light source, as well as the all the hands, allowing for legibility in low light conditions. If you’re searching for a nice looking, functional watch, look no further than the Casio G-Shock Mudmaster GG-1000.

First let me say this watch is beautiful to look at, so much so I can't stop staring at it. Looks even nicer on, and in person. Rugged yet classy, could wear it on the PGA Tour or into the front lines of battle. It has a negative display and if it hasn't already been mentioned, the digital readout is not meant to be illuminated and is cloaked on purpose for stealth while concealed or camouflaged. Yes this makes it difficult if not impossible to read in low light situations but that's exactly the point, to not give out any light whatsoever, you have to consciously turn on the flashlight which only illuminates the dial and increments. So if you're into playing with settings in total darkness, this isn't the watch for you. Packed with features including a digital compass, thermometer, and the ability to disable the tone for hunting or additional stealth, this is a true survivor's wristwatch.

Got one of these as a grad present so I could wear it in the military and outdoors. It’s built like a tank and I love all the features. I changed the straps for black ones I got off Bolo for the same model family so I can wear it with more outfits and it looks great!

Honestly one of the best daily driver watch i have ever had. I cook for a living, so getting food debris, grease splatter etc happens. I just take it off rinse under hot water while rubbing with my fingers and shes pretty again. The watch is a looker as I'm always asked about my "huge" watch. The band is comfortable rugged plastic. I have dinged it on edges, oven doors and sliding it around a desk. The illumination is ok, doesn't last particularly long. Now there is as slight tick as the watch does its thing so if that bothers you this may not be the watch for you. The inverted digital isn't hard to read at all. I ordered one that way and was feeling uneasy how I would be able to read it once its on my wrist and it was just fine. The only cons to the watch its the light is kinda meh. Its bright on the bottom half of the screen but doesn't do much on the upper half. Also when the light is activated don't expect to read the digital numbers. Easy to setup and wear. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a good looking, rugged beater watch.

Bought to replace a G Shock I had for what seems like forever. This arrived in time, product looks great, still same quality as the last time I bought. The lume on the hands is terrible (as expected) and the reverse display is a little hard to read in certain lighting but the light function is really good and the compass function is easy to use. Temperature function is good too but you need to take watch off wrist for about 15 min to accurate reading. It’s a larger watch but curves to fit wrist and is very light weight. 200m water reistance is great (last chick I had was 100m) Overall, very pleased for the price. This watch will last forever with only needing to change batteries every few years.

Bought this because triple sensor with multi band 6 and tough solar (which would have been the dream combo) was way too expensive -- not willing to pay $600 etc. for that.So, double sensor, 2 year battery and no weather predicting is fine. I already have a pro trek I can do all that with. Mostly I wanted this thing for the mega toughness and mud penetration resistance.I use 40mm watches on my 8" wrist and this one nevertheless being a lot bigger does not look overly big nor out of place. It looks aggressive and sporty but not too big.That said, a wrist smaller than 8" might be overwhelmed.Dial is same size as my pro trek, this just has extra "tire tread" padding around it. All good and they have similar vibes, this one being the shoutier and more aggressive adventure vibe, that one being the classic higher end dashing one.Very happy with this watch. And Bolo sent me a real one, not a fake. Thank goodness.
