I love this machine, i make hats for our local schools, very sturdy, very easy to use. So much easier then knitting. 1/2 hour to make a beautiful hat or headband, addd a crocheted flower and have a wonderful gift. It lasted about a year and pieces broke off. I loved this machine

I collect knitting machines and I had to have this one. The circular knitting works great from the beginning. It took me some doing to get the panel knitting right. When I finally figure it out, (after watching YouTube videos), I wanted to kick myself since it is so easy. I own a cheaper version from Loops & Threads and although it works fine, the quality has no comparison. It took about a month to get delivered, which considering it came from Germany, is very reasonable. It's made out of great quality material. It comes with spare needles, stoppers, instructional manual, DVD and a pattern book. The instructions in the pattern book aren't that good, something got lost in translation. Also, I couldn't make the DVD work since I guess they use a different system in Europe. The instructions are clear though and there are tons of videos on YouTube.

I bought this Addi because I had the micheals loops and thread knitting machine. The micheals knitting machine kept jamming when I crank it. It was very toy like, i made 1 hat, it was a child size. Yet it didn’t take bulky yarn. I was just not pleased with it . So, I decided to go and buy the Addi. I saw so many reviews on how much people loved it and was wondering what the hoopla was about. I must say the machine is just beautiful. You really have to buy one to experience what others have said about it. It’s a very hands on experience, as words can’t describe it, you must see it to believe it, as I just got it in the mail. Exceptional service from the seller, as it came early then expected. The wait was excruciating but worth it, the seller told me that this takes 7 to 20 business days to deliver, As this machine is coming from Germany. It’s also made in Germany. ( please find something to do while you wait for this to arrive, crochet if you have too! ) upon opening the box was exciting, I did receive everything as described ( a pattern book, the express hook, stoppers, and replacement needles, the machine and leg clamps and legs) i did not get the dvd. This is the Rolls Royce of circular knitting machine, very well built. Does not look toy like , like some other knitting machines. Made of durable plastic. Crank easily, there is 3 black hooks, unlike the 1 black hook on the micheals knitting machine, the addi Looks delicate still, you can’t go crazy with it. Heard you can make hats in 30 mins. Please, please appreciate it and care for it as it seems it will last a lifetime, if well maintained. Not light weight, it is a little heavy but portable.You are making a great investment on this, as this machine is not cheap. Please shop around for best price. Not everyone can afford it. After experimenting with it, it’s not that easy to use like many people have said in their reviews, this takes time getting used to the feel of it, if you’re a beginner like I am. If you have no idea then it will seem hard to use, Seems like you need some knowledge and experience, but i am going to refer to YouTube as to how to properly use this . In the pattern book, everything inside looks beautiful, but looks very hard to do unless you are an expert at using the addi knitting machine. The instructions manual is hard to understand. But there are better written ones in the beginning pages of the pattern book that was included with my order. After getting my own addi, i have to say i do recommend this to anyone who enjoys yarn work, crocheting,knitting, loom knitting to purchase one. or you know someone who loves yarn and needlework .. this makes a great gift, they will enjoy immensely. Please Enjoy what this can do. Have fun with it. As I know I will.

The Addi 46 Kingsize is wonderful. The pattern books are useless for me. The items are mostly unattractive, or things for the house that I will never make.You can learn so much more and get so many patterns free on YouTube. You can buy replacement pins and stops separately and still spend much less money just buying the Addi knitting machine alone.

We've only been using it for a couple of days. This review is our first impression. The English version of the instructions could be clearer. Fortunately the instructions are well illustrated. It didn't take long to figure things out.Our initial impression of this machine is that it is unbelievable! We were able to crank out a hat in 20 min that would have taken at least a day, if not more, to knit by hand. The first couple of items we produced had a lot of mistakes; we're still moving along the learning curve. I'm guessing we will be able to turn out a 100% mistake free product after a couple of days of practice. I will provide more feedback in a week or two.

I read all the reviews & most stated shipping was slow. Wanted to get a head start on making Christmas gifts - hats with matching scarfs. I have rheumatoid arthritis & after reading reviews felt this would be better on my fingers than using knitting needles & crochet hooks. Love that once I understand how to use it, a hat can take 30 minutes. That’s a lot less stress on my finger joints & saves me a tremendous amount of time making my Christmas gifts!! I purchased this on Oct 11 & received it today, Oct 14!!! The Bundle arrived on the 3rd day after I purchased it. I was totally shocked! Had tracking info saying delivery today but after reading reviews I did not believe it & thought it would take a few weeks to arrive. Both boxes were packaged together. They arrived in pristine condition. Lots of packing materials surrounded the 2 boxes & 3 books. Going to watch a few more U-Tube videos then learn how to use both machines without breaking any needles! Lol! Will add my success… or failure… after my attempted use of these knitting machines. As of now, I can say communication & shipping from this seller was flawless!! Very surprised it arrived so quickly… & the that the boxes & contents appear brand new. Hoping these machines allow me to create the hats & scarves I want to knit, & then bring smiles to the faces of those who wear them!! Happy Customer!!

The machine it self was plastic and did not do a great job creating even stitching. The stitches were uneven and loose. Plastic is plastic. I am really upset they charged me $129.. for restocking fee. I would not even give this product a rating after seeing paying $259.00 and then charged an absurd restocking fee of $129. That is not right.
Quick and easy knitting
The Addi is wonderful and well worth the price IF you make a lot of items in this size.My only complaint is that you need to be ready to do a lot of maintenance on the edges as they come put pretty raw.
Great quality product
Received sooner than expected. Needed lithium grease out of the box but it works smoothly without issue. I’ve been using it to make children’s hats and flat panels to make blankets, very easy to use, even if you have never knit anything in your life. Highly recommend for anyone looking to make a lot of hats for charity.

Drops a lot of stitches - quite frustrating
It takes quite a few tries to get one product without dropped stitches - I finally after almost giving up figured out how to hold the yarn to prevent dropped stitches - I reached out to the company for help and they never got back to me - poor customer service.
Loving it! Small learning curve. Instructions could be improved, as well as the numbers.
My King Size Addi Circular Knitting machine finally came! It took a long time but it was worth the wait. I quickly mastered the tube, and today I spent the day making rectangles of all sizes. Unfortunately, what I wanted was a square of a particular size. For one thing, the raised numbers on the red plastic are unreadable. I didn't see them at all at first! I've darkened them now with a fine tip permanent marker.I've also discovered that the stoppers work better if you end on an even number and keep the yarn in front for 4 hooks not 3. This means it looks like the yarn is grabbed by the last two hooks, but only the last even number is actually knitted. This makes a nice neat edge that needs no finishing. I start and end with waste yarn and crochet the top and bottom. The sides still roll, but not as much. The instructions on how to use the stoppers are virtually nonexistent!I put a dot on every other tab too, so I remember the best places to stop. I realized the tension has to be as consistent as possible. Learning and mastering a hand wound, center-pull ball helped a lot and practicing changing colour without losing stitches. The rectangles are now pretty much perfect at this point so that's a good chunk of the basics learned in just a couple days. The book it came with has lots of interesting patterns too!
