I recently started feeding my dogs Purina Pro Plan, and I’m very impressed with the results. Here’s a brief rundown of my experience:**Quality Ingredients:** Purina Pro Plan uses high-quality ingredients, with real meat as the first ingredient. It’s reassuring to know that my dog is getting a nutritious meal without unnecessary fillers.**Health Benefits:** Since switching to Purina Pro Plan, I’ve noticed improvements in my dog’s coat and energy levels. They are more active and their fur looks shinier and healthier.**Taste:** My dog loves the taste of Purina Pro Plan. They eagerly finish their meals, and I haven’t had any issues with them being picky.**Digestibility:** The food is easy on my dog’s stomach. I wanted to wait a little while before writing this review to see if it was really going to help or not.My French Bulldog Maelee had been suffering from food allergies for the past couple years. We had went to the vet numerous times and she had to be given antibiotics and ear drops that she had to take on a weekly basis for maintenance to keep ear infections from returning. I did some research on my own, to figure out that recurring ear infections are often a sign of food allergies or intolerance. I switched her food a couple times, trying to steer away from Chicken and just change the protein and I didn't see a change until I switched to this food. Since this wasn't a typical limited ingredient diet, rather a specialty diet I thought it was worth a shot it being a little bit cheaper than some of the other options but quiet a bit more expensive than the Purina Beneful or Purina One SmartBlend.I had initially started out with Beneful then changed to Purina one Smartblend with chicken then switching to lamb and it was with those dog foods she was having the allergic reactions to.She would shake her head, scratch her ears, bite her feet, and rub against the furniture all the time like she was so miserable. She would scratch scabs in her ears and it absolutely broke my heart, I can’t take that!! I knew I had to do something and not let her suffer, she is my baby. The vet didn't mention allergies after the few times we kept taking her back for ear infections, but I'm a responsible pet owner and did the research myself to figure out the cause. (No offense to our vet he’s a wonderful doctor) If your dog is suffering from allergies this food is a really good choice and worth a try. While it may be a little pricey it is well worth the reward in your dog will be a lot happier and healthier.Since switching to this food, she is no longer itching, biting her feet and we have weaned off of the maintenance ear drops from the vet even. I couldn't be happier~! The quality of life when a dog has allergies has to be absolutely miserable. I was determined to keep switching, paying any amount of money to get my dog back to normal.We also tried the Zippy Paws Aller-Immune chews right around the same time we switched to this dog food, and I'm still giving her those as well.Some of the other reviewers said there were bugs in this dog food. There were no bugs in our bag of dog food and Salmon is the first ingredient. Reading the list of ingredients is a lot better compared to some of the other dog food brands in this category.I couldn't recommend this dog food enough, and I'll continue to dish the money out each month to give it to my dog if that means she doesn't have to suffer from itchy skin and ear infections.If your on the fence about buying this because of all the negative reviews regarding bugs, I inspected my bag thoroughly and there were NO BUGS! Also Purina has very good quality control and I am loyal to this brand.**UPDATE** 09/27/2022My Frenchie has had to go back to the maintenance ear drops from the vet. It’s luckily just a call in prescription no longer requiring an exam every time but she does have to take them again. I don’t think it’s anything to do with her diet anymore rather environmental allergies on top of the protein sensitivity. This food is still working great for her. When the ear infection returned we decided to switch to Hills prescription diet d/d salmon formula, buying it from our local vet and was a lot more expensive than this food. We kept her on that for months but no change in her ears so we switched back to this. I’m still happy with this food and know it’s made her allergies a lot better. There’s just unfortunately not much you can do for environmental allergies besides allergy medicine to help from the vet. We limit her treats and try to stick with single ingredient freeze dried salmon. She’s my life and I would do anything for her. Made the world of difference with our 2yr old basset hound. He poops solid and consistently now. Before we used a "holistic" dry food and every other poo was soft or runny. Always felt bad for him. Been using this for about 2 months and his coat is healthy, thick amd shiny and no more runny poops for my boy

Dogs are satisfied with less dry food and joints are happy. I put a can of chicken or tuna in and mix up. This dog casserole is overall healthier and cheaper in long run. Coats look GREAT

My 14-year-old, senior dog really seems to enjoy this flavor of Purina pro plan, which can’t be said for all of their recipes. He really seemed to enjoy the salmon and the quality was consistent throughout the bag. I couldn’t tell if it made a difference for him as far as his gut health, but his skin issues (patchy hair loss) appeared to improve during the time we switched to this formula. The pieces are fairly small, something to keep in mind if your dog has bad teeth.

I recently switched my dog to Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin and Sensitive Stomach Dog Food with Probiotics, and I couldn't be happier with the results! My dog, who used to be a very picky eater, has started eating with enthusiasm again. The formula is effective and works quickly to soothe his stomach while also improving his skin condition. While it doesn't completely remove all his wrinkles, it significantly reduces them, making him feel more comfortable. I appreciate that I no longer need to rely on an iron for special occasions, as this food has made a noticeable difference in his overall well-being. This product truly deserves a five-star rating for its effectiveness and quality!

This food helped my dog be able to get the nutrients he needed from this food. I have one dog with sensitive skin and one with a sensitive stomach so it works for both. Having it delivered for cheaper than big box stores and websites through Bolo is sooooo much more convenient. Highly recommend if you’re looking for this specific mixture. It’s very hard to find in stores.

We started using this brand for a dog that had food allergies. Eventually, we put all of our dogs on it and have continued to use it. While it's not cheap, it's less expensive than other "sensitive stomach" brands and all of our dogs like it.
Great for our poodle with digestive issues
Our dog is sensitive to foods but this is one of the only ones that makes his bowel movements regular and healthy. I wish it was cheaper and had better availability on Bolo for the subscription but still will continue to order
