Purchased this strainer after learning a trick for making perfect fried eggs. Thos strainer has just the right fine mesh for draining the watery part of the egg whites, that runs wild in the pan. Set this strainer over a short glass or mug (perhaps a dirty one from the dishwasher) and crack an egg into the strainer. In a minute or so, the thinnest part of the egg whites will strain out. The majority that's left goes into the pan and Voila! The perfectly shaped fried egg. I'm sure this strainer is great for other things too, but that's all I use it for! Great quality too. Worth the price. I always have it in reach in my kitchen, along with my spatulas.

I needed a strainer for my indian style milk tea, I boil the tea in the milk and then have to strain it out, I have tried many strainers over the years and this one is finally working great! Its the perfect size to fit over a mug and deep enough to hold the full liquid soaked tea. I ordered a second pack already!

It can be so hard to order on Bolo sometimes, and finding a stainless steel strainer was a good example of that. It's hard to tell what the quality really is. These arrived shipped by Bolo in a thick paper bag, and I though "Oh Great, they smashed it!" But they were fine! I guess they are pretty strong stacked together. We don't drink, although they would be perfect for making and straining drinks. I bought them for brewing tea in a cup and whenever I might need this size strainer in the kitchen. I've used them several times, and they are perfect and seem to be of good quality. I haven't seen any signs of rust, which was my biggest concern. We are hand-washing them, but then we've left them to dry on our drying pad I have by the kitchen sink. These are great!

I purchased this to use as a vehicle to selectively dust food areas with fine dry herbs or sweet flavors, e.g. icing sugar or herbs. The cone shape does that very nicely.
