5.0 out of 5 stars Compact, versatile, and awesome
The leather on this is very soft and enjoyable to the touch. It is very well crafted, and it holds all the vital cards and things I need. So I don't have to carry around a bigger wallet unless I absolutely have to for a specific reason.I tested out the NFC blocker on it and it works great and is good for protection. This little wallet fit in any pocket you want comfortably and has a little money clip in it.I highly recommend this especially for the price.
5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding wallet for the money -- great features, great price!
This "Serman Brands RFID Blocking Slim Bifold Genuine Leather Minimalist Wallet" (version 1.0 with the ID window on the inside flap) is an outstanding value for the money. I selected the full grain leather, gray color options. At around $29, I was delighted to find the wallet to be of good quality construction, with tidy, tight, well executed stitching, even grain/coloration, and rolled under edges for durability and a clean finish. One outside flap (the "front" of the wallet) has a simple pocket with a cutout to aid in pressing cards up and out with your thumb. This slot can easily hold two cards, technically more if you stretch it, but it seems perfect for holding the single card you use most (I keep my main credit card there for easy access). The other outside flap (the "back" of the wallet) has an open end slot (accessible without opening the wallet) with a pull tab for accessing the cards contained therein. I was worried the pull strap would be gimmicky and delicate, but in practice, it is well made and wonderfully convenient. The strap is high quality webbing (not elastic, as I expected) tipped with a slender leather pull tab. The slick sheen of the webbing makes operation smooth, and when pulled, the cards rise up approximately 2" out of the pocket for easy handling. Four cards fit easily in the slot without compromising the smooth operation of the pull tab. It could probably handle more, but why overload it and stretch the leather? There are plenty more pockets for other cards, if desired. On the inside, there is an adjustable tension money clip that seems to hold bills securely in place. I've had no troubles with them shifting or sliding out. As the wallet lays open, the left side has two additional slots for more cards. Each of these slots can hold 1-2 cards--or in my case, a slim stack of three ultra thin laminated paper cards that my bank issues to account holders for each account, plus an equally slim laminated health insurance card. One of these slots would also be an ideal place to keep 3-4 business cards. On the other (right) side is the clear window for an ID. That's where you would typically keep your driver's license, but the slot is thick enough that you can fit another card behind it (in my case, my GA weapon carry license). It's a little tricky to get the IDs out again, but there's a cutout in the center of the clear window to assist with this. That's it for the features. Overall, the "footprint" of the wallet is a little slimmer in length and especially width/height than a lot of other wallets, and when folded up, it's decently thin as well because of the money clip eliminating the need for an extra layer or two of leather that normally makes up the bill compartment on a more typical bifold wallet. No, it's not ultra minimalist, but it's perfect for a typical man's needs. While I love the idea of slimming down to keep things simple, in reality, there are a number of rare-use cards that I have to keep in my wallet or it will be extremely inconvenient, possibly disastrous, in the rare instances I need them. These include my health and dental insurance cards (which I'll otherwise forget to bring with me the once or twice a year I go in for a checkup), my GA weapons carry license (which is supposed to be with you at all times when concealed carrying, and you never know when you may be stopped by an officer who wants to see it), a Costco card (which would be frustrating not to have with me when my wife calls to ask me to pick something up on my way home from work), and so forth. If I wasn't worried about the need to have these with me whenever the need for them arises unpredictably, sure, I could easily slim down to a true minimalist wallet that only holds 3-5 cards. But realistically, I would end up shouting the F word at least five times a year--maybe more--when I'm inevitably forced to drive all the way home again because I left those cards on my dresser or in our other vehicle. So this is an excellent, decently slim, uber convenient wallet with some of the best features that the "cooler" minimalist wallets offer (like quick pull tabs, outside access, etc.), in a well made form factor from what seem to be decent, durable materials. And it's only $30 or less?! What a great deal. Get one! I bet you'll find it a great fit, unless you're deeply concerned with style or want it to have that much more pleasing vegetable tanned leather smell (this one smells like it's chrome tanned, which is more chemical smelling by comparison, but still fine).Highly recommended as a great value for the money.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great wallet!
I’ve had it for around 5 months and it’s the best wallet I’ve had, it’s a great size and fits comfortably in my pocket compared to my previous bulky trifold wallet. Minus a few expected scratches from my keys, it is very durable. Very easy access to my debt card on the front. My only worry was the money clip, but it holds cash really well.
4.0 out of 5 stars Minimalist wallet
Great work, minimalist wallet. Packs a lot in one small wallet. I have a work cc, two account cc's, the money clip is better than other brands I've seen, a pocket for an id, a mini pocket where the pull string is located. Great for 2 more cards any more than that it feels stuffy. Personally I feel like it could use more space but it's more of a minimalist wallet than anything else. More card slots would be nice across from the id portion of the wallet. Asides from the positives, the negatives being that it could have more space & they sent me the wrong color wallet. Definitely not as pictured. I did not get slated gray rather what seems to be a light brown or beige with a bit of adhesive stuck on the money clip when I took it out for review. In terms of durability it seems it could last a while. I cannot say until it's had some use. My prior leather wallet lasted me years. If this has the same leather quality then perhaps it will be just as durable. Comes with a 12month warranty so at least you have piece of mind.
5.0 out of 5 stars An outstanding value wallet
So for the longest time I have been using a Bottega Veneta wallet and to be completely honest it’s if they were the same price I’d still get the Bottega Wallet but they aren’t. My previous wallet was damaged overtime after being repeatedly waterlogged when doing outdoorsy stuff and I was looking for a replacement wallet. I was holding off a long time because the Bottega was around 500 bucks but it was the best feeling wallet I have ever owned. I was thinking of getting and ridge wallet after so many commercials and but when I found a video in use it sort of turned me off because it was essentially but putting your cards in a strap and metallic plating. I then was looking at esker because they had the push outs which looked nifty but then I saw the quality would vary from person to person and while a lot of people had great experiences it was not for others. After finding some review videos comparing wallets I saw this wallet. To be honest 30 bucks is still not exactly a cheap wallet compared to some 10 buck wallets I’ve owned previously but it’s looked great. When it arrived I really liked it more and more as I used it. It was a tiny bit tight on the cards at first but most wallets are like that. I got accustomed to the cash holder really fast. And the leather was not bad. I was skeptical of this holding as many cards as it advertised and I don’t have that many cards anyways but I did fit all my cards into the pull strap slot and it worked out fine. The durability of the wallet feels good and even though I have not used it long it just feels like it would last I’ll keep this updated tho. I did see that the RFID protection thing doesn’t exactly work but that honestly has no effect on me. For how many slots this wallet has and cards it can hold that the wallet remains slim is very impressive. I give this a 5 stars because it is almost comparable to my older Bottega wallet in quality. And that was expensive asf.
Really like this wallet
These are the time of wallets I always get, like the way you can adjust the money clip, this is the one fir me
SCAM ALERT : I returned item but got no refund
This wallet was extremely smaller than pictured, the pull strap does not retract at all and is made out of cheap material, the storage is very limited. You can't store 5 cards in here. I returned the wallet over a week ago but I haven't heard anything from the seller. I feel scammed out of $91.70 that I paid.UPDATE : It's been 3 months, no way to contact seller directly and no refund.
PRIMA RECENSIONE ITALIANA
