5.0 out of 5 stars Tires were leaking air slowly
One of my tires was leaking air slowly...it was annoying me. I even took it to a mechanic and he did not find a hole or leak. Showed me in the water. I got this and it immediately solved my missed. Easy yo use and works great. Compact for easy storage.
5.0 out of 5 stars Saved me a tow!
I have a 2024 Model Y Performance and was always a little concerned about it never having a spare tire. As a result, I decided to pick up one of these fix a flats last week to keep in my trunk. I'm glad I did because literally a few days later I go out to my car in the morning and see a huge sheet metal screw sticking out of the tire and the car telling me that it's dangerously low tire pressure. After removing the screw I can see (and hear) that this tire is not going to hold any pressure and will need replacement. I needed my car back in action in a hurry and a tow was going to be crazy expensive and slow to arrive... I didn't know if the fix a flat would be able to work on a puncture of this size but I figured I would give it a shot. After following instructions I slowly drove it around for the 2 miles it said to and looked at the damage....still leaking...so after 15 minutes of coming to terms with my whole day being lost, I checked it again...no leak!...I topped it off with my portable inflator and waiting 10 more minutes....it was holding 38 psi without issue...so I proceeded to drive it to the Tesla service center 10 miles away and got a replacement tire within an hour and was able to go about my day...so this basically saved the day. A+

Didn’t work as I expected or thought it would.
5.0 out of 5 stars Can actually worked. I was amazed
I had bought this in the local store and the can only worked for a little while. This time the can worked great and it even worked a month later when I went to refill my lawn mower tire. Good product.
5.0 out of 5 stars This works! Follow instructions and know what you’re plugging.
My wife’s car tires were leaking air. Apparently no holes, just old tires with still good tread. Leaking from who know where, I think where it touches rim. If you follow instructions, drive car about 5 miles after filling tire. Don’t try to plug a nail hole. Just small leaks. Imagine this is glue. So basically tire was leaking from 38 psi and 2 days needed air at 20 psi. With this product it did stop the leaking. I only got to put in a little first time, since I filled the tire with air first before using this. Better to fill tire with this product glue before topping off with air. Then drive it. First time I used a little it lasted an extra maybe 200 miles. Second time I put in more, but not all bottle and it’s lasts more than 300 miles and holding strong. Think of using this I think more in small leaks that leak over days and as a temp solution until you can get a new tire. This is helping us get more out of our tires until we need to really change them out. I’m hoping for 5K miles. Keep you all posted. I liked it enough to buy one for my dad too. His Escalade tires are old too and slow leaks. Instead of buying expensive tires right away, I’m using this. Damn perfectly good tires, just older and slight cracks. This should help squeeze every mile possible out of tires.
1.0 out of 5 stars Difficult to use and eventually hose end broke
I purchased this can of Fix-A-Flat to fix, what I believe, is a rim leak on my truck tire which needs to be filled once every week or so. When I attempted to use the product I let some air out of the tire (down to 25 psi) so it would be easier to dispense the contents. The instructions on the can say to have the valve on the tire at the 6 o'clock...which I did as well. When I attempted to make the connection using the swivel connector on the can's hose it was difficult. The hose on the can is very short and stiff and because it came coiled in the can's lid, did not want to straighten out making connecting it to the tire a very awkward process. It was hard to screw the hose end on the valve without it binding so it felt like it was cross-threading. I have machined aluminum valve caps and they go one very easily so I know the threads on the tire's valve stem are clean.I finally did get it on and when I attempted to dispense the contents it filled the hose but that was about it. I could not see any contents flowing thru the hose at all. I assumed it was not on far enough so I took it off to try again and the contents sprayed everywhere showing it was indeed under pressure....just not going into the tire. After multiple tries the hose end eventually just broke off and stayed on the tire's valve stem. I was able to get it off, but at this point the can is useless to me.Obviously I cannot and will not recommend this product. I have used this product before and had success, but that was when the hose was longer and wired to the side of the can making it much easier to use, versus how they are shipped now. I would recommend going with another product or possible going to a box store (which is what I plan to do) to find one that does not have this design. At the very least, if you do choose to disregard this review, I would try it with the tire's valve stem at the 3 or 9 o'clock position which might make it easier to thread the hose end on to the valve stem,.Also, if you choose to go this route you might just be throwing your money away. I attempted to get a refund from Bolo and was directed to the manufacture's web site. From there you are directed to use the 800 number of leave a general message that is in no way connected to your Bolo purchase. Past experience tells me it will not be an easy process so it looks like I am out the $12.
