5.0 out of 5 stars DIY sign LED upgrade
I changed out fluorescent bulbs to these LEDs in my 10’ x 3’ sign. I used a 200 w 12v power source hardwired to power. I used 6 strands each containing 20 led modules for a total of 120 led modules for this project. From my calculations, each strand requires 24 watts. So that means 6 strands would require about 150 Watts. That is the reason for a 200 W power supply. You are supposed to only use 80 to 85% of the total power supply. Each strand was wired back to the power supply outputs so there would be no voltage drop. I did use flat white spray paint to clean up the back of the sign cabinet. I also used a small amount of silicone on each module so they would not come off if the 3M adhesive dries or fails. So far, it is working like a champ and the lighting of the sign is consistent. I am very happy with the result. Hopefully, these will last a long time and I won’t have to replace bulbs or power supply for many years.Update: I did both sides of my larger 14’ x 4’ main sign with these as well. Let me tell you, I am estatic with the results. I placed the strands 6” apart in rows and it turned out fantastic. Hope the pictures do it justice. I used 2 - 200w power sources on each side to power the leds. Saved a bundle over having a sign company do this.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great product
I like it
5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for cabnet lighting or hidden accent lighting for the do it yourselfers.
These led modules are working perfect for my home Bru kitchen cabnet lighting. Easy to hide. Easy to configure to any lighting project. Inexpensive and more than enough to light every cabnet I have including a accent light project. They have been in service for several months now with zero issues. And professional results. I used 4 to 8 modules hidden on the back side of the face frame, used 16 gauge wire, small paddle switches and hot glue to secure wire and lights. The double sided tape on the lights holds well on a smooth surface but on the Simi ruff surfaces they would come loose . Simply added a spot of hot glue to each end after they were stuck in place. I'm buying again for a master bathroom.
4.0 out of 5 stars A lot of lights you really have to have a need for this many
Ordered these light to make bait lights for fishing. They arrived quickly and seem to be pretty bright. They come 20 lights to a strand and 10 strands. Which worked out well for my needs. Would like them to be brighter but they were good price and work well and water proof but not submersible.
5.0 out of 5 stars quality is super good

5.0 out of 5 stars Works great for backlit School Logo Sign
The media could not be loaded. These leds were easy to install with the self adhesive already on them. We custom cut this acm and offset it an inch. Super bright lights for cheap!
3.0 out of 5 stars I have one strip that is defective and stopped working.
I have one strip of the led lights that is burnt out and doesn't work. The rest work fine
5.0 out of 5 stars Better than expected
These LED bulbs have uniform brightness and so far no problems. As long as the driver’s wattage is calculated correctly the bulbs should work fine
