When I was young I only used Rawlings gloves. At that time they were the most widely used gloves in baseball, called 'the finest in the field '. Now ,at 70, I decided to get back into softball, at a somewhat slower speed. This is a great glove and it has a perfect pocket for either softball or hardball. The leather is high quality and soft. It was easy to break in. The price was right and compared to gloves priced at two to three hundred dollars this is just as good. This model can be used for infield or outfield.

Nice catchers glove with great Rawlings quality. Got it for my nine yr old and he really likes it. It does require breaking in. This model seems more durable than the other Rawlings catchers mitt, hmm I can't remember the name of that one.

Was in need of a new glove to use coaching my son’s team. The leather is super nice. It was slightly broken in but with some oil and beating, it’s good now. I will say if you have bigger hands like me, it’s slightly snug. But I am able to stick out my pointer finger outside the whole which is how I prefer it.
