Friskies is a well known brand of cat food. I feel comfortable buying Friskies but some picky eaters don't love this particular dry food. I didn't buy this for my indoor cats, however, whom are very picky eaters. I got it to feed three outdoor stays cats who started coming around about 1 year after the worst of the Covid outbreak. Unfortunately, many people got a lot of pets during Covid's Quarantine period for various reasons and when things began to open again and they weren't stuck indoors all the time, many people surrendered their pets or let them outdoors and didn't let them back inside. It breaks my heart to say this but that is the time when I started noticing stray cats showing up so I couldn't just let them starve. I began feeding them Friskies 5.5oz cans of fillets in gravy and found this dry food, for such a great price and in 16 pound bags with a brand name that I trust so I decided to get it and I alter between their wet and dry food. The outdoor cats still love it and they are no longer going hungry. I did a lot of price and weight comparing and this always came out as the best value. I'm grateful it's available especially since pet food prices have gone up 50%-80% over the last 4 years.

I've been feeding my backyard rescue feral cats dry cat food from Purina Friskies, and this tender and crunchy combination of 16-pound bags is very affordable. Since I started using this cat food, I have noticed that feral cats show up in my backyard on time every morning and evening, which leads me to believe that they really enjoy this food.This cat food is of high quality and provides all the essential nutrients that feral cats need to maintain a healthy weight and vitality. I noticed that after feeding them for a while, their messy hair began to become smooth and they also had a very noticeable weight gain.I personally believe that Purina Friskies dry cat food is a great value for money option that not only satisfies the tastes of feral cats, but also supports their overall health. This cat food is an excellent choice for those looking for a cost-effective pet food to care for feral cats in their community.

...or for those who feed their own cats and rescue cats! I have several cats of my own, foster rescue cats, and help a neighbor feed the strays and abandoned cats who call her porch "home." I have tried MANY brands and varieties of cat food, and Friskies dry food is the best low-cost alternative I have found. Sure, there are "healthier" foods out there, but of course they are higher priced, and thus may not be an option. Friskies provide decent nutrition, with a flavor even picky cats seem to enjoy. I would give five stars, BUT a couple of times the bags have arrived split open. Not a huge problem since there wasn't much spillage, but it means the food needs to be used sooner than later and can't be stored. Otherwise I recommend this product.

My cat doesn’t like wet food so I’m happy he loves Friskies Tender Crunch and Friskies California crunch party mix. He likes to see me pour it into his bowls. He will paw at the bags to let me know when he wants to eat. He’s had no issues eating this and must like the taste and texture as he prefers this to other brands I’ve tried.

The ingredients definitely aren't top notch. I buy this to feed stray cats and community cats, along with canned cat food and they truly enjoy this. Crows have taken a liking to this dry food outside too. Sometimes I feed it to my own pet cats, mostly in the winter when heating bills are high and one has to watch their budget. I always feed both canned and dry to both outdoor and my own cats. The cats seem to tolerate it without any stomach issues. The value for the size of the bag is great also. The cost is 15.98 for this large bag. The food is fresh, never any damaged packages with Prime delivery. This Friskies dry cat food is a good economical choice to keep in rotation with their canned food. I'll keep buying it.
