These are tasty but pricey. Excellent amount of protein in a small package. Great for occasional use. I do want to point out that all the epic bars have that smelly-beef jerky smell. I would not want someone next to me on an airplane or riding in a car to eat one, but when eating outside they are fine. Same goes for your breath-you may want to have some gum or a mint available if you eat one of these to be kind to those around you. :)

The bar is quite salty and not packing on the bacon flavor side. The consistency is more like ground meat / sausage, but it's still a bar. It's OK as protein on the go, but not a product I will re-buy.

This really does a wonderful job of bringing good bacon flavor to an easy-to-carry snack. And there is enough meat to make me feel like I ate food mid-afternoon and not just a teaser, without spoiling my appetite for dinmer.

I bought this to try, and it is much better than expected. It will hold you between meals, and makes for a nice alternative to say a candy bar or something loaded with sugar. I'm not too fond of the price, but they are handy and won't be messy to eat if you left it in a hot car. I wish it had a wee bit less carbs, but it's a buy again because sometimes you just need something on the go.

Hey I'm in the middle of a Whole30 and needed to find some emergency snacks for when I take my little guy out and about. I have tried three flavors of these epic bars and this one, is delicious! It's a little greasy but gives juice to the texture, unlike some of the other bars (turkey/cranberrry :( and beef). I like them, it tastes and smells like bacon and is great for a quick hold-you-over snack.

While more expensive per ounce in comparison. It very much resembles a pressed bar of spam and less flavor and salt at that.
