5.0 out of 5 stars Homeless kit supplies
We put together homeless kits a couple times every year. These emergency blankets are a great addition. Those who had them included were very grateful and asked that we continue to have them in their kits. Will definitely buy them again.
5.0 out of 5 stars Emergency blanket
Have not needed to use this yet long term but am happy to have it just in case. Tested out of the package and felt immediate heat. Small and compact to store a few items everywhere you are. I have one within reach on any trip and carry a few in my car and in every travel bag.
4.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for me
Excellent
5.0 out of 5 stars Good product, reasonably priced.
I actually bought these to put under the window blinds/curtains to reflect the heat out. Our new home doesn't have many trees to provide shade around the house. This works great! We also keep a couple in all of our vehicles in case of winter emergencies. Good product, low price and small enough to be convenient.
5.0 out of 5 stars emergency survival blanket
thankfully haven’t needed to use yet. material seems to be of good quality should perform well if the situation should arise
5.0 out of 5 stars The larger size is beneficial.
The larger size allows for protection above, behind, and underneath you with just one blanket. My test shelter in my photos is designed to have a campfire in front of it. This setup uses 550 paracord, trekking poles, six tent stakes, and duct tape. I also used four branches to hold down the bottom edges in place. If there are conveniently located trees to attach paracord to, trekking poles and stakes would not be needed. For my test shelter I used blue painters tape instead of duct tape, which I successfully removed without tearing the blanket. The blanket did tear in one place when erecting the shelter but the wind was blowing it around a lot until I got it secured.I noticed that the description shows the size at 63" x 87" but a photo of them showing 59" x 87" on a piece of paper packaged inside plastic envelopes. I measured one at 61" x 87", still way larger than others.
5.0 out of 5 stars Much better than the average mylar blanket
These mylar blankets are about 15% larger than the blankets you can buy else where. If you've ever used mylar blanket you know that most of them seldom cover you completely. These are the largest I've found and when you need an emergency blanket, that's important. They also feel a little bit thicker that most blankets, but I haven't measured them, so I can't say that for sure. But their strong and don't tear easly (in fact they're hard to tear by hand). If your going to use an emergency blanket, because your caught in the cold, spend the money and get one that will keep you warm and dry. Surviving and emergency isn't the time to go cheap.
5.0 out of 5 stars Keep at home and in your car, purse in the winter
In the summer could make a good heat reflector, out hiking my a good shield and reflector if you need one.I put it under the cats and dogs bedding also to reflect their body heat back to them.
