UPDATE: so i started burning the twisted wick and its perfect! Its not burning too quickly compared to before (but this may have to do with the size of the candle.... this is only my second candle) overall im happy with this product and ill definitely hold on to it for a while!I ordered this because the wick spool at micheals was expensive to what ive seen here. I used this in my first candle, a mix between an old candle and and a 5pb bag id also bought here. the wick burnd too quickly, as there is hardly any wick above the melted wax, the flame is tiny compared to store-bought candles, as well as if you moved the candle the wax below would extinguish the tiny flame. I just made another smaller candle and instead twisted an extra long wick as id heard they might help. Will update when i get the chance to burn the thicker, twisted wick. Also the candle is in fact labeled ‘made in china’ not that it matters to me

We made a butter candle for the holidays and it was a HIT. So easy to make. This wick was perfect because there was no after taste or anything.

This wick is really nice slow burning wick that I purchased for my beeswax candles I am making for the holidays. I found that is burns slowly and you get a lot of wick for the price. However, I assumed that the "light" in the product meant light on smoke but when I received the product the wick seems a little thin compared to store bought candles. In my opinion, this wick is better for small candles because it is thin. If I were to make bigger candles, I would need a thicker wick. A good product overall.

The wicks are WELL coated with the wax. They work well, but it does make using them with a wick lighter a little difficult at times as it can get sticky and not slide to lengthen the wick very easily. Thinner hemp wick than other brands I've used before and as mentioned, very well covered with wax, potentially could be considered too much at times.

This thing has done wonders for my dogs smile, her teeth really shine after some vengeful chew time with the bees wax ball.. I probably shouldn't have let her sniff it when I unwrapped it, I left the house not long after that is when she made her move. JK about the smile, but maybe it did tho.

I don't know how this would do with a candle but it absolutely didn't work with a ghee lamp.
Good deal, but poor quality and a bit dishonest
First off, it emits a lot more smoke than it is willing to admit in the product description. Out of the package, it has a really bad processed leather smell and it is really thin diameter-wise. Think it's around 1mm and it has a very low radius for burning. The wick burns way too fast and has a weird dustiness to it after it finishes burning. I would not recommend it for larger candles unless you braid it but even then, the braids while burning becomes untangled.The packaging looks really off and doesn't look like what it shows on the website. It just looks like a spool of compressed waxed wick. What I do like about it is how I can personally make it however thick I want it to be by braiding it and it sticks pretty well together due to the excessive wax it has. If needed, it can be heated carefully and let the braids adhere better.After airing it out, and being near my other scented candles, it takes on a really nice scent!TLDR: good for the price, but not as described.

Don’t buy!
Don’t buy! Not worth it. It is very thin so the flame is very small. Makes a crackling sound and slight flicker while burning. Thankfully I only made a couple candles with this wick. Same beeswax candles I made in the same batch with other wicks do not burn like the ones with this wick.Will not be using this again.
