It is the essential mechanical pencil starter pack. The pencils, refill leads, and erasers that are bundled together are reliable for users at school, work, or home. The pencil bodies are long-lasting. The erasers do not leave marks on white paper. The lead refills are contained in a case that does not accidentally open up and spill. I find this item more economical than order items a la carte (i.e.: a box of pencils alone; erasers alone; leads alone). Hope this is never discontinued!

I am a teacher and have been using these pencils for many years. I use them at school and for all my personal use writing too. They last long and are comfortable in the hand.

Love the quality, colors, but most importantly, the long, white erasers! Coming from a teacher, white erasers are the best because it takes less effort to erase and white erasers erases beautifully (even the cap and rectangular whites)!

I love these pencils, they have a great grip, easy to load, and replacement erasers. A must have for school, engineers, architects, etc. They are not super durable though. I find myself replacing these every two-three years.

I gave away a lot of mechanical pencils recently and kept only a single pack. When I went to use them, I discovered there was no handy thumb control to release the lead. So I bought these Pentel's and the thumb lead works perfectly. Great long lived mechanical pencil based on years of previous experience so I expect the same life of these. Good buy.

These pencils write very well. The lead is smooth, and doesn’t break. Comes with extra lead and eraser replacements. 4 stars because the eraser twists down on its own, it is annoying when you have to twist it up all the time. I wouldn’t buy again, only for that reason.

I have been purchasing these exact mechanical pencils for the last 6 years for my daughters. They are the only ones they will use. The only thing that stinks is they hold up so well that we run out of erasers for them. Yes, they have used every last one of them. It was either buy 2 more packages (1 for each daughter) or purchase erasers. For the price it would be silly to order erasers only.

Recomiendo éstos portaminas, son cómodos, con mina blanda, la goma es de buen diámetro (como la de un lápiz de madera, con buena longitud), los colores son bonitos y nada "escandalosos" (de hecho, era mi duda, por la edad que tengo pensé que debería haber blisters con colores más "serios"), nada que ver.Definitivamente lo volveré a comprar
