So I have never had one of these danger slicers before, and was super hesitate given my more than acceptable ability to hurt myself. Finally annoyed at my inability to cut a thin sliced tomato without injury, this one caught my eye while Bolo surfing. It comes with an anti-cut glove for starters, so safety challenged folks like me can sigh with relief. It also can cut slices, French fry cuts, and those tiny julienne cuts too. Cleans up like a dream! I am sold after making a batch of radish chips in the deep fryer. If you are debating, don't. It's a high-quality tool for what you would pay for a plastic-y version at another retailer!

This Madeline slicer is do easy to use. You can change the slicing thickness easily and it is a real work horse. It folds for easy storage and is very well made. Changing the blades is easy as well. It is very sharp and cuts effortlessly.

This works really well on vegetables. The gizmo used to hold vegetables as you slide it across the blade has to be held a certain way or the blade will cut off bits of plastic. See photo.

I tried it with some assorted vegetabes, including some rocotos (fleshy chiles, similar to a bell peper), and it did create some very nice waffer thin slices. The spiky handle that comes with the mandoline is impractical and hard to control. Using it bare handed provides the best results, but you have to stop before finishing the piece to avoid injuries.

I had a plastic one that I used for a few years. I didn’t use it that often, but it was enough that the plastic cracked. I took that as a sign I needed to get a new one. I found this one almost half off during Prime Days. It was a good find at a great price.

You can’t adjust the thickness of your julienne, you are stuck with either thick 4.5mm or thicker 9mm, that’s it. If that’s what you need, the slicer will work for you, it’s very sharp, stainless steel, easy to use. I give it three stars because it doesn’t adjust to thin julienne.

If you don’t have one of these, borrow one and then purchase your own. Slice’s potatoes, tomatoes, cucumber, carrots, and anything you want. Use it almost every meal prep. So quick and easy. Watch the blade (Sharp) easy cleanup. Love it.
Wear safety gloves this product is very sharp
I just purchased this product and it does work nice does the job it's supposed to do but I'm just learning to get use to this device and wear the protective gloves that comes with it would recommend

Es fácil usarla pero siempre con medidas de seguridad, porque su cuchilla está muy afilada y al principio me llegué a cortar levemente. Sin embargo, es un aditamento que facilita y hace rápidos los cortes de frutas y verduras. Se lava fácilmente y hasta el momento ha sido muy resistente

Una mandolina que por el precio que tiene se desenvuelve muy bien.Además, viene equipada con unos guantes para evitar cortes. Fácil de limpiar.Aconsejo su compra.
