These dishes are some of the best. They have a nice cross hatched pattern that is cool to feel as well as easy to grab!They are just the right amount of thickness, plus they are ceramic so they are tough and don’t break very easily!I love how I can stack them so easily and save much room in my cabinets, I also got them on an amazing deal so the value for my money was very high!Great product from a good brand that I will (and already have) recommend to a friend!

Simple, clean looking dishes that have held up well to daily use. We have adult children so I can’t say how it would hold up to young children’s use. For us, this set has been great.

Beautiful design. Stacks well. Thin in a good way--nice quality bone china. However, it's not so thin that you're afraid you'll break it, and I'm not the most gentle with dishes!Update: A year later still no chips! However, the dishes do stain easily, especially the mugs. Now using different mugs do to this. Stains come out easily enough with denture cleaner, but it's kind of a pain.I love the durability and modern design that references antique dishes and goes with everything. Just wish these dishes stained less frequently.

Not dishwasher safe
My previous set of Mikasa dinnerware was fantastic - elegant yet durable, standing up to years of use. This set seems to be of dubious quality, however. Most of the pieces have had their glazing removed after a few months of dishwasher use. A real disappointment.
Better than expected
Very nice dinnerware, and these pieces look elegant on the table. I purchased a service for 6 set three years ago from Costco, but wished I had purchased 2 sets. I was unable to find another set for under $450.00, so when these came up on Bolo for this price, I wasted no time. This is a service for 4, and Costco is offering these again now in a service for 8 at $10.00 less than this (so twice the dishes for less). Anyhow, this dinnerware is well worth the price and I just love the quality and the pattern.
