5.0 out of 5 stars Great Stovetopp
I am very happy with this. We retired and moved to an RV and we need an electric stovetop. I had an infared one for years and hated it. The burners did not get hot enough. I tried n upgrade to this one and it's excellent. The large burner is perfect and gets hot enough to fry things. The smaller burner takes a while to heat up and is not as powerful. This was a choice though. Anything that needed more juice would blow the breakers, so I am very happy with this.
5.0 out of 5 stars Superior quality
Great quality product. Very much like the design and of course it's functionality. Perfect for my small place. Enjoying using it, heating up takes a minute, but once it gets going, it's going! Love it thus far!
4.0 out of 5 stars Works fine but no replacement for a built-in
Our built-in Hotpoint stove gave up the ghost (in spectacular fashion), so we got this Cuisinart stove as a temporary replacement. The stove works as advertised, but you should be careful to manage expectations. Even at 1800 Watts, it is still significantly weaker than the Hotpoint — it takes longer to heat up, and it doesn’t get as hot. For example, it can’t reach a rolling boil to cook spaghetti noodles, and it takes a long time to reach even a slight boil. Another downside is that to achieve an intermediate temperature, the burner appears to cycle between 100% on and off, so that it oscillates around the desired temperature. If you are doing something that requires accurate temperature control, this will be frustrating. After a while, we learned how to get by, but don’t expect it to do what a built-in can do.
5.0 out of 5 stars Easy and looks nice.
I opened the box. Plugged it in. Turned both burners on high. Boiled a pot of water on the small burner since everyone seemed to complain about that. No issues and it looks great. Nice product and will come in handy when we don't want to fill up our outside gas tank at the tune of about $600 bucks.
5.0 out of 5 stars Best little cook top ever!
I am building my home out of pocket and am not ready to purchase a stove just yet. I have a camp style set up in my kitchen. I have had this cooktop for a year now and it has treated me well. I use cast iron and stainless steel cookware. It makes crunchy popcorn, pasta, potato’s of any description, fried chicken, bacon, sauce…you name it. The second smaller burner does take li her to heat up than the main burner if I have the main burner on also. I can use both at the same time, it just takes a little longer. No complaints here. The unit does get hot to the touch so be careful. I usually keep a low d over the empty burner when I am cooking to keep splatter off of it. I wish Cuisinart made normal size stoves with these cast iron burners. They are wonderful. The burners stay warm for quite a while after you turn them off. I use this every day, and so far no issues.
5.0 out of 5 stars Most Excellent!
When I write a review, it's only after at least six months of testing. I use the Cuisinart countertop when we go to our cabin, which averages about 60 to 70 days a year. The left burner heats quickly, and the right burner a little slower. Other than that, the unit is dependable and has been a workhorse. If you're looking for a dependable countertop unit, pay a little more and get this "most excellent" product.
3.0 out of 5 stars It's so so
I bought this in the event power goes put and I have to use a solar generator. I tested it with regular plug into house outlet though. I tried to boil 2 eggs in a tiny pot...after 20.minutes theater had only reached a simmer. The temp of the water was 190 which is hood grove as rming food but it never reached a boil in 25 mins. So I moved the pit to the bigger burner and it was boiling within a couple minutes. My next test is to see how long it takes from cold. I'll follow up.
5.0 out of 5 stars This is my second purchase of this Cuisinart countertop 2-burner electric. I'm happy with it.
The first time I purchased this product was about 6 years ago. It worked great for 6 years. Then the larger burner (which is mostly the only I used) stopped working. The small burner still worked fine after 6 years. I was searching for another countertop electric burner to replace my old Cuisinart, mostly because I was hoping to find a larger burner to fit my large Dutch oven-type pot; however, even though I searched and searched, I could not find a product with a significantly larger burner so I once again bought the electric 2-burner Cuisinart, & I'm happy I did. Even though the larger burner is smaller than the bottom of my large pots, it still works out fine for me -- I just make sure I regularly stir whatever food I'm cooking in my large pot so that the heat will spread throughout the food, & this really works just fine. I like how simple and straightforward this countertop electric burner is. Although I wished it would last me for many, many years, I guess that 6 years of use is pretty acceptable. I believe it comes with a 3-year warranty. The cast iron burners heat up quickly and will bring food/water to a boil quickly.
Dejo de funcionar al mes y espero respuesta del vendedor
La placa electrica se ve bien y funciono bien por un mes, ahora no funciona una placa. Estoy esperando respuesta del vendor para cambiorlo o regresarlo o que lo arreglen.
Great product.
I choose this stove because I purchased a cuisinart griddle 11 years ago which is still going strong and cooks perfectly. I got it to cook certain foods outdoors at home. So far, so good. It's solid, looks great and cleans up great. Recommended.
Easy and quick
I bought this item for camping. I love how it is simple to operate and easy to clean. I love the simple dials and not a whole bunch of buttons and lights. The only drawback is that the smaller burner has less watts so doesn't heat up as fast.
Nunca llego
perdí mi tiempo esperándolo
It cooks
Good burner. Seems more reliable than other brands, certainly the conduction versions.Really good paper on the main element. Much more even heating than anything else I’ve used.Only complaint is rust. Is a bit of a pain to keep the element top seasoned. If you leave a pan on it you need to make sure it’s completely dry or it will rust overnight.
