Very nicely tied quality flies and they look good for us and the fish! they get insant hits! hooks are sharp I prefer barbless for smaller fish because they can mess them up when hooked at a bad angle etc. so pinch the barbs with a plier simple fix.

The river trout in a sequoia national park in California go after these lures like candy. Some of them had holes too small to pass a string so it’s good to have a needle poker piece to open them up if needed. But these work better than any other lure.

The only reason I can't give these 5 stars is because I have yet to actually use them, but for the price and apparent quality of the flies (they seem to be tied just as well as flies that are twice as expensive) these are a no-brainer of a purchase.

I could see the trout in the water around this submerged boulder in a fast moving river. I could see them hitting the surface occasionally. I tried for an hour using live bait and other non fly lures and got nothing.At last I put one of these Flys on and let the current drift it over that boulder and they hit it back to back. These worked when nothing else did.

I got them fairly cheap. A couple of them had thread wraps over the eye of the hook. Other than that, they look okay.

A great fly box, small enough for most vest pockets, and still holds a lot of fly's. But I fish mainly small fly's. the see through lids are great for grabbing the right one.
