The Callaway 300 Pro measures the angle of the incline or decline you’re up against as well as calculates the slope adjusted distance displayed on the screen. Our 300 Pro Rangefinder comes with six features including slope mode, P.A.T (Pin Acquisition Technology), birdie technology, magnification, accuracy and water/fog resistance. It’s equipped with 6x magnification and 5 – 1000 yard range with +/- 1 yard accuracy. Choose whether you want to play with yards or meters to acquire distance. With our P.A.T. feature, lock up to the pin up to 300 yards away to give you an accurate distance, even if trees or other hazards are in the way. Get precise distances to the flagstick, water, trees, or bunkers. Our exclusive “Birdie” feature delivers an audible “chirp” when the laser locks in on the pin to confirm you have the correct distance. The 300 Pro Rangefinder’s slope function can be turned off with the click of a button, which makes the Callaway 300 Pro legal for tournament play. OK, so, I read a bunch of reviews before my purchase and decided to give this rangefinder a try. I had a Bushnell that bounced off the cart (I wasn't driving) and into a creek at the end of last golf season. I had planned to just bite the bullet and buy another $400 Bushnell. But, saw this for less than half the price and with 4.7 stars and over 11K reviews, how bad could it be?It arrived today and works as advertised. Quick acquisition and seemingly accurate distance based on common sense and golfing for over 40 yrs. It's Jan in Michigan so, just shot some signs, light posts, etc., outside my office. I like that the vibration occurs even on objects like a car or, whatever. It doesn't require a pin to get confirmation feedback. So, the main reason for the high review before ever taking it out on a golf course is simple operation, quick acquisition, and very strong magnet relative to size and weight. I don't think this one is coming off a cart. If so, I'm probably off the cart as well. If your looking for a rangefinder that has clear optics and quite frankly just measures the distance to things easily and accurately, then this appears to be a good choice. I can't speak to durability given it just arrived but, I'm impressed with this little fella so far.If there any negatives or, at least insights I can offer, it is quite small. I have probably average size hands and this thing is small. Not so small that it's weird but, definitely an adjustment from the Bushnell. Also, the Bolo page claims it doesn't include a battery. Well, it does. So, my purchase of 4 batteries was essentially unnecessary but hey, I got the Bolo ones for like $10 or whatever. I probably would have held off on additional batteries had I know it included one. The Bushnell unit I had would last a year or more (30+ rounds) on a battery so, now I have spares to give to buddies.I'll update this review after a winter golf trip and/or next season if there are any changes in my opinion. For $170, if it lasts a couple of seasons, seems like a reasonable buy.
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent accuracy, ease of use, great price for the quality and features
So far (after about 3 weeks), I am extremely pleased with the 300 Pro. Works very well for me and is a good price compared to others offering the same number of features. I looked at the Bushnell Hybrid Rangefinder before buying the Callaway. Although it has some features that might be kind of cool, at $400 you would think it could give you slope (I suppose irrelevant it you only play on a very flat course), and you would think it would have a magnet (or other cart attachment device) at this price (they do offer an accessory for cart attachment for additional money). I'm not slamming Bushnell as they make very good products, and I am guessing the Hybrid is very good, but at more than twice the price and without offering what I consider to be a couple of key features, for me the decision is a no-brainer.As to a couple of reviews I saw making complaints about the 300 Pro:(1) Small size: Some reviews complain that it is too small. I like it (although it has a magnet to attach to golf cart, it also fits nicely in the golf cart cup holder). My golfing buddy has a much larger rangefinder (I do not know the brand) which is no easier to aim than mine. He is very impressed with the smaller size and how quickly it gives a readout compared to his rangefinder.(2) Battery life: one review says the battery drains too quickly. At least from my experience, after 8 rounds over three weeks, I am still using the same battery without any issue. As I always do for battery powered products, I bought additional batteries at the same time on Bolo: "EBL CR2 Lithium Battery, 3 Volt 800mAh Photo Battery for Mini 25, Mini 50, Golf Rangefinder, Flashlight, Electronic Toys, Alarm Systems (CR2-8 Count)," about $12 for 8 of them. Even if I had to use a new battery every round, when paying $50-$100 per round I would not mind paying $1.50 to get accurate yardages for the round! (After 8 rounds I am only paying about $0.25 per round, assuming mine dies before round 9!)Sept 6, 2021: Update re battery. Four additional weeks and 6 additional rounds. Still on first battery.November 1, 2022: My last update for this product. Today my first battery finally ran out on the first hole. AFTER 101 ROUNDS SINCE 9/6/21!!! Obviously I did not need to buy all the extra batteries.
Callaway rangefinder
smart, tidy size, easy to use
Seems to work well, small, easy to use.
My first range finder and happy with my choice. Only been using a few weeks so can’t assess durability.Seems well made. I’ve had no problems picking up pins though sometimes you have to take a couple of readings to make sure it’s not targeting the background (but I’m told by experienced users that that is normal). I like that it has a jolt or buzz when it finds a target. I’m happy I selected a model with slope and that I can turn it off for tournament play. The price was good for the quality and features.Bottom line…I recommend this product.

Excelente opción !!
Fast and acurate
All good but would have been better if measurements was also shown in Red… difficult to read during night golf at few of the Dubai courses
