We bought a brown medium for my husband’s costume for his holiday work party. We bought two versions, but this one fit more like a Jedi’s robe. The other brand, Joyshop, was smaller. Hubby is 5’8”, 150#, 30” waist, and wears a 38 suit coat. It is made of a sturdy polyester twill fabric (same weave as denim or khakis), a lot like polyester tablecloths in drape and feel. It comes with ties at the neck which we cut off, not needed for a Jedi. The hood is lined, so no seams show. I originally planned to make one out of brown sheets; but this saves me the work for the same price, and the fabric is better quality than the sheets I found. Size medium measurements: hood is 19” from top of head to neck seam; underarm to underarm is 24.5”; straight, 25-26” across, all the way to the hem; 24” long sleeve; 19” across, shoulder to shoulder; ~55” shoulder to hem. Would definitely buy again!

The robe was a bit long so I did need to hem them a bit and I wasn't too confident that the included tie ribbon would be enough to hold together. That being said, this was very easy to modify to my liking and my issue of tripping over was due to my inexperience to clothing modifications in general. That being said the robe was more durable that I expected which helps with the overall quality feel.

This robe is fantastic! It far exceeded my expectations. The fabric is sturdy and of good quality. The stitching is well done, with the ribbon tied at the nape the front of the robe closes over your clothing. A rope or cord will make a nice accessory at the waist. I am 6 ft 6 inches with 37 inch arms. The sleeves cover my hands with my arms relaxed at my sides, the skirts of the robe touch my feet. I am quite pleased with this product.

Wanna be a Grim Reaper for Halloween? Hoping to emulate the Hermit for a tarot-themed booth at a Renaissance Fair? Planning on playing a Sith in your cousin's Star Wars fan film? Or are wizards and worshippers of eldritch horrors more your speed?This is a very good, very basic hooded robe that is good value for the money. Sometimes simpler is better. It's made out of polyester, which will get very warm very quickly. It is larger than expected - I am nearly 6 feet tall and the hemline went down past my ankles - and very roomy. There is no zipper or clasps to keep the robe closed. An enterprising amateur with good sewing skills could likely add clasps to this robe in just minutes, and adjust the hemline to taste pretty easily. (I'm clumsy at sewing, so I took the easy way out and used Velcro strips to keep the top of the robe closed while still allowing free movement of my legs). The robe did come with some creases from being folded in storage, but they came out easily enough with some gentle hand steaming. I wouldn't put this or any other pure polyester product in a washing machine or dryer.The robe seems pretty durable. It's better quality than most graduation robes I've seen, that's for sure!

J’ai été surprise de la qualité du tissu. La qualité est vraiment bonne pour le prix et la grandeur est parfaite. J’ai pris un Large, je mesure 5'7 et la cape m’arrive aux pieds. La grandeur est parfaite, assez longue et juste assez courte pour ne pas marcher dessus. Je recommande!

Not bad
This one fits too long unlike the other colour I also ordered which is the same size. This one drags on the floor when I walk and it also doesn’t stay tied as they use some sort of silky ribbon which you have to tie a knot essentially to get to stay tied.
