5.0 out of 5 stars Great little pump

    D.P. · December 16, 2024

I've had this for a good while now and it works well, the gauge is accurate with the psi. It does "over inflate" set psi to compensate air loss when unscrewing the connection. It's easy to use and carry in your vehicle, decent power output. Going to give it a try on my rv tires to see how well it can handle bigger tires and higher psi. Good product overall

5.0 out of 5 stars Works great

A good piece for the price. Worked excellent on my BMW. Except it won't work on trucks. It's easy to use, stops inflating when it reaches its weight,, very compact , good decent quality, comes with built in light for night use. Truly a very good product. Oh, it comes with a lighter plug and electric cord . Highly recommend.

I recommend this little compressor. It really works well. Easy to use, lite and durable. This little compressor is impressive. I was so impressed I bought one for my daughter for Christmas. Plugs into the lighter so you never have to worry if it is charged. I have no problems recommending this product

4.0 out of 5 stars Short cord

Works well, but cord is too short. Is your car has only one 12v outlet in the trunk it may not reach front wheels and you will need an extender.

5.0 out of 5 stars Defective Unit (Replacement Works Great)

    L. · March 2, 2017

I bought this compressor because of all the good reviews. I read some bad ones and figured what are the chances of me getting a dud. It looks nice out of the box and worked well for 2 incidents. I topped off 3 tires and it was great. It was fast. Yesterday, I tried to top off another tire and in the middle of doing it, it stopped pumping and no more compressor noise. The flash light still work and the fuse is good. I love this thing, but wish it works. Will return it. Too bad.Update:I had initially given it a 1 star because the unit received was defective.I wanted to give this unit another try and got a replacement from EPAuto. The new one works perfectly as advertised.During the recent snow storm, the temps fluctuated up and down and the TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) on my minivan displayed the low air icon. On the night before the storm, it was 10PM and I decided to use the van next morning because of the snow. The temperature was 27 degrees, but I had better do it then than the next morning. All 4 tires were about 2-3 pounds off. I hooked up the new unit, set the pressure to 35 and each tire took about 45 seconds to finish each tire. It was a breeze and I was ready to go the next day. Each tire stopped pumping when it reached the desired pressure. I was not worried about overheating because it was cold that night.Imagine if I had to do it the next morning, with the temp at 21 degrees and snow covered tires? Whoa!!If I didn’t have this thing, I would had to go to the gas station. Sometimes I have to wait or they give a “No Air” sign, saying the hose froze. And it’s $1.50 each time too!I had also topped off the tires on my sedan. I had wondered if the pressure displayed were accurate on the unit. After topping all 4 tires, I checked the car display and the TPMS matched the unit’s tire pressure displayed. No more need to use the pressure gauge to check. I am truly confident that the pressure is accurate. The unit looks sleek like a little sports car. The bag is adequate enough to hold the unit. The extra bike/ball needle and other adapters were nice, but I wouldn’t put it in the bag along with the unit. It’ll disappear into the abyss of the trunk. My only problem is putting on and taking off the hose. When attaching the hose, I had to make sure the threads are alight right or air will seep out. When I am finished and about to take the hose off, that is when it gets tricky. I have to take a deep breath, focus and screw the hose off as fast as I can without losing too much air. There were a couple of times I thought about putting the unit back on to top off the tire again, but I never did. This problem is of no fault of the unit. It’s just the way tire valves are made.Overall, I like the unit very much. Both my vehicles need 35PSI, so I just set it to 35 and never have to look back. I am seriously thinking about getting a second one for the van. Then I don’t have to keep switching it from vehicle to vehicle. It’s good insurance to have if I ever have a flat. I will need it to get enough air into the tire to get to a gas/repair station.Thank you, EPAuto!

Update on 3/8/2017 -Still working like a charm! Inflates quickly, quietly, and accurately. I highly recommend - It's small, powerful, and I'm confident that it will get me out of a jam when I need a small, portable compressor. It's already saved me a lot of grief a couple of times, when I find a tire almost on its rim and I need to get air in in it to make the vehicle roadworthy. No regrets on this purchase at all!Update on 2/7/2017 -Received a replacement pump, and it works like a champ! VERY Pleased. As a matter of fact, I was so pleased, I ordered another so I could have one in each of the two cars. It inflates quickly and quietly. It's compact, and seems to be rather durable.Original post:I bought this "EPAuto 12V 120W Portable Air Compressor Pump, Digital Tire Inflator by 100 PS" from Bolo as an Bolo Prime customer yesterday, and it was delivered today. Yay! I opened the box, and was rather excited to find it had some weight to it (not a lot), It but didn't seem flimsy or cheap in any way. I thought that if I were to drop it (or even toss it, and the recipient of the toss missed it, it would survive being dropped). It's a rather solid feeling unit, and seemed to be built much better and more durable than other pumps I've owned. Now, the test - I took it outside, plugged it in to the cigarette lighter socket of the car (making sure the power switch was set to the off position first), started the engine of the car, and saw that the display on the pump illuminated. I screwed the fitting for the fill hose onto the tire valve, and it told me the tire pressure was at 14.5 psi. I thought (and hoped) this compressor would remedy that issue, until I adjusted the desired pressure with the bottons to 35psi, turned on the power switch to on, and NOTHING happened. I turned the unit off, unplugged the unit (and the display on the unit went black) from the power source (cigarette lighter plug), checked the power cord in-line fuse, and the fuse looked fine. I plugged the unit back into the power source (cigarette lighter plug), the display lit back up, Yay! Powered up the pump again (turned the power switch back on),and NOTHING happened (again). No click, no noise at all. It was like the power switch was an ornament and not a functional piece of the unit. Right now, as I write this, it's back in it's in box with its accessories and packing materials being returned to Bolo, scheduled to be picked up tomorrow.I will order another one of these units to give this product another fair chance (as I would any restaurant or other merchant (Hey, everyone is entitled to an "off-day"), but so far, I'm very disappointed with the fact that this unit is a "#1 Best Seller" in the Bolo rating system, yet the quality control system for product is so <substitute the expletive of your choice here>.Did they test this item, spot check some, or what?!?!? OR, maybe just pushed ot out the door, resting on its laurels? Other recent reviews of this "EPAuto 12V 120W Portable Air Compressor Pump, Digital Tire Inflator by 100 PS" show similar experiences to mine. In the future, I'll pay more close attention to recent dates of the reviews. I will update this review when I receive the replacement unit I'm ordereing, and talk more about it when the time is right. I'd like to see t work, and last a while... Thank you for your time for reading this review, and I apologize if you find this review a bit "long-winded" (it IS for a compressor, after all, and I'm letting my compression out... :-) . Sincerely, Jim

It's so easy to use, plug and play basically. I've used other ones and they have broken in the first use. This one is the family tire air pump. It has worked well for more than a year now or even two so I would totally recommend it

Compact, light, easy to use, accurate.

I bought this for occasional tire maintenance. Thus far is has worked flawlessly. Once every week or so, I'll plug it in and air up the tires as needed, usually only a few psi needed. When I'm checking oil, coolant etc. this little compressor has become part of that process and I find it very useful.I have used it on two different cars and one full-size SUV. The instructions say it's not designed for use on bigger SUV's (and probably pickup trucks) but if you're only going from 32 up 35 psi, it works just fine. I would be cautious airing up a big tire that was quite low, this unit would likely melt.It was discount by about $12.00 when I purchased it, so the price point was very good.Keep in mind that it's a small unit and it won't last forever, but I highly recommend getting one.

Work ok until the valve broke

    A. · June 29, 2023

This air compressor worked pretty well for maybe six months. A couple of gripes: it was a little fiddly screwing onto and off the tyre so that you always lost a bit of air; the pressure sensor didn't work well for footballs so that it wouldn't inflate then unless you set the sensor high and then had to guess when they had enough air. Then after about six months the valve broke and I had to throw it away

One of the best budget air compressor in the market

Fills up car tires from 0 to 32 psi in 7-8 minutes. Does not gets hot as other brands. The only thing getting hot was that air flow pipe.
