I use these daily for my three cats (too) many meals. I put them in a carrier bowl, the corelle white soup bowls fit perfectly, to make them stay put better. I wish the box these come in was easier to open. I don't know who designed that glue but pretty sure you could make buildings with it. And you can't really knife the box, at least the box says not to. But the bowls are great.

I sometimes buy the Bolo Basics plates and bowls that appear to be made by Dixie (may or may not be, I never checked). Those are actually good and seem like Dixie. However, if the price point on Dixie is similiar I'll just go for Dixie.
