5.0 out of 5 stars It works
This really works. I am one of those who produce alot of breastmilk. I was producing 4 times what my baby actually needed. I started loosing weight because of breastfeeding, so i decided to wean at 4 months. I had already saved a whole freezer of milk that will last for 1 year. I started researching something to help me wean, i was getting engorged, painful headaches, mastitis,. I really needed something to help. Then i found this tea. Its not magic but it works, breast milk production has decreased, remember not to completely empty your breast when pumping. It's been 2 weeks now and i take the tea 3_4 times a day. I only get about 10oz from both breast as compared to 20oz every 4 hrs. Btw, tea tastes good too.
5.0 out of 5 stars Overproducers NEED THIS.
Omg delicious. I have two cups of this a day to curb my hyperlactation (thanks to my PCOS). I still donate 35-50 ounces per week. I have noticed if I don’t have my tea, I donate 50-75+ ounces per week. Donation is fine and dandy but when you are feeding your baby plus getting clogged ducts constantly, (and they turn into mastitis often as well) it’s flat out misrable. 😩 I think for the average breastfeeding woman, a few days of this (at 3-5 cups a day) would help dry her up. I however, have boobs that are determined to feed the nations. 😅 I’m ordering more. Heck, make me a spikes person. This is the only stuff that has flippin’ worked to curb my production! Hallelujah!!! I’ve had four babies in the last 7 years. I’ve tried it all: sunflower lecithin, peppermint oil, peppermint tea, cabbage leaves, I only block nurse since birth- so of course I’ve heard of Kelly mom website— I’ve met with 3 lactation consultants plus midwives and OB’s. ... this tea is worth its weight in Gold. 👏👌
5.0 out of 5 stars This stuff WORKED!
I was desperate to dry up my milk supply after nursing my baby for a little over a year. I weaned properly and thought that was going to be good enough. Boy was I wrong. My milk wasn’t going to give up so after a week of ice packs and cabbage leaves I decided to look for anything else that may help. Read the reviews on this and decided to give it a try. I’m so glad I did! After about 3-4 days of drinking this 3 times a day my milk was gone. Now I’m just finishing up the second box because I liked the flavor so much. I added honey to mine which gave it just enough for a little sweetness. If you are looking for some extra help with drying up, I highly recommend this!
4.0 out of 5 stars Useful and doesn’t taste bad
I started drinking this tea a few days after I decided to stop breastfeeding, and i can feel my milk decreased quite quickly with this tea. The taste is not bad, it’s herbal and kind of minty. I drank three bags one day and felt my breast less swollen.
5.0 out of 5 stars AMAZING
Dried up my milk in 3 days. The pain was finally gone. I had tried pink storks one and it did nothing. This one is amazing!! Look no further ladies. I breastfed for almost 2 years until the biting became too much. This one doesn't even taste bad. Less minty than the pink stork one too. I don't know what they did with the ratios, it's basically the same ingredients but it must be different amounts of things. They nailed it! Thank you earth mama! (Love their nipple butter too, it also makes a great chapstick for Mom and baby lol)
3.0 out of 5 stars Didn’t work for me :(
Three stars because it didn’t work, for my body, but yummy taste! I’m trying to wean my 21 month old and was hopeful this tea would help decrease and dry my milk supply so it would be a nice gradual transition instead going cold turkey. I drank this tea three times a day…five days for one box. Didn’t even decrease my supply. I’m still debating if I’m going to buy one or two more boxes, maybe my body just needs more time. I will update, if I do.
5.0 out of 5 stars Herbal Tea flavor- seems to help
For a medical reason, I had to top nursing my son cold turkey after almost exclusive breastfeeding for 10 months. I used this tea in conjunction with other milk reducing tricks, so I can't say for sure, but it was largely painless overall, even despite the sudden stop (except maybe the first 48 hours which were uncomfortable, but actually I didn't have this tea yet then). I drank this a few times a day as a hot herbal tea- it is pretty typical of a peppermint herbal blend and I found the flavor unremarkable, but I drink a lot of herbal teas. Within about 2 weeks I was milk free, so I can only think this helped. It certainly didn't hurt and was a tasty tea that was better than ingesting Sudafed (another common method of drying up - but way less safe!)
4.0 out of 5 stars A pretty good option to dry up your milk
This stuff really works! I didn't breast feed so I was expecting a lot of pain and tenderness when my milk came in. This is my 3rd baby and i knew what to expect. I bought 2 boxes of this tea in anticipation.. I only used 1 box. It definitely helped. I didn't have to make a bra out of cabbage leaves this time aroind. I barely had any pain at all. This may or may not have something to do with my baby being in the NICU and being unable to hold her. I heard that holding a baby and hearing them cry produces milk. It wasn't the best tea I've ever had.. but it wasn't the worst. I added a bit of raw honey to sweeten it. It smells pretty good. It had a nice aroma of sage and peppermint.
Wastage of money
Not even slightly useful. Consumed 2 boxes but nothing happened...
Not worth it
Haven't felt any difference not worked for me
