About this item:
1. Merckens white is a delicious, smooth and creamy vanilla flavored confectionary candy coating with no waxy taste. 2. White and colored confectionery candy coatings combine sugar, milk and vegetable oil. It is easy to melt and requires no tempering. If a thinner coating is desired, paramount crystals may be added. If adding flavors or colors, use a concentrated flavor or oil-based flavor. 3. Chocolate may melt in shipping if ordering during warmer temperatures. If it melts during shipping, it can be remelted and there will be little change in the hardened/finished chocolate.

I've been making chocolate covered oreos for a long time, and this is the first time ordering this brand, and online. I was a little nervous because I'm in Southern California and ordered during a heat wave, but the company packaged the chocolate with icepack, so well, that all 25lbs of chocolate I ordered was intact and NOT MELTED.When it came time to making 156 cookies, when melting the chocolate at 30 second intervals at a 6 setting and 5 setting, the chocolate melted perfectly without having to add coconut oil to assist.Was really a wonderful experience.I will be buying from this company again, and again.Please do not change your packaging protocols, I was so happy the chocolate was not melted when it got to me from Pennsylvania.

I buy many kinds of wafers thinking this would be a hit, but it melts terribly even if I put a little oil in it. I set it aside and use regular chocolate chip chips or Ghirardelli wafers and it melts just fine boo and I can’t return this I’m not happy. I’ve tried it twice.

I use this product for my business and have four years and it is wonderful. However, I just received a larger shipment and the expiration date is in 55 days. Definitely not enough time for me and unfortunately, it can’t be returned because it is a food item.
