I love drinking from the glasses. They are tall like wine glasses and narrow. They are really attractive. The glasses holds the same capacity as a normal glass. With ice, I've emptied full cans of soda, water, and juice in them without worries of the shape. They are also lightweight and thick. I would be curious to know how durable they are because I'm completely comfortable that I will have these for a long time. I love my glasses and straws are way too cute in them.Update: I tipped a couple of the glasses over on hardwood floors and it held up perfectly. They are very durable and I'm glad it didn't break too.

As others have noted, the glass used is quite thin, but that is what gives it the elegance. The bottom has a solid foundation. Nice height at 6 inches. These are perfect for Collins type cocktails. Try this: White Sands Highball with Japanese Whisky:INGREDIENTS2 part Suntory Whisky Toki or other high end Whisky1 part Coconut water.75 part Lime juice.75 part Simple syrup (one part water, one part sugar).5 part Grapefruit juice1 pinch Cinnamon powderGlass: CollinsGarnish: Grapefruit twistDIRECTIONSFill a Collins glass with several ice cubes and set aside. Add all the ingredients to a shaker and fill with ice. Shake, and strain into the prepared glass. Garnish with a grapefruit twist.

I didn't feel confident rating the durability, as when I received mine, one was broken through the base, and one had a sizeable chip in the rim of the glass. It's really hard to tell if this is just improper handling during shipping and distribution or it's a real problem. I'm not exactly in the habit of dropping my glassware if I can help it, but during normal use none of them have chipped or broken in the year or so since I ordered. So, I'm guessing it's a shipping thing; since 5 glasses was plenty I couldn't see the sense in returning it over 1 broken glass.Regardless, these glasses are solid glassware. It's kind of pain to clean, but if you're buying a Highball glass you probably already knew that. Past durability, you're buying this for the looks, and they live up to the listing on that front.

I received a first set of glasses, the glasses were foggy and did not look good. The original box they came in was resealed with Bolo tape so it kinda looks like I got returned set. The seller immediately sent a replacement set and those were sealed in box with original tape and look perfect!

Greatest original BAR glasses I could find ANYWHERE ! They are thick at the bottom and have that feel of the commercial authentic bar glasses and not a cheap home version. Mine arrived in perfect condition with no flaws. The only thing I wondered about for PICKY people is that they are sold as 13 ounce and when I pour a 12 ounce can of ice cold coke into the glass , it fills it right to the brim and others may squak that it seems like a 12 ounce glass but I LOVE THESE AND WILL ORDER 6 MORE !!! A++++++++++++

I bought these glasses for two reasons..1) I'm having a party and need this size and 2) I have an amputated finger and these tall glasses are much easier to hold. They are very sturdy and less likely to break than ones I have had in the past. I would buy them again!

Easy to hold; surprisingly good quality for everyday glass cups
Before buying this, I was contemplating whether to cheap out in buying a Costco set of 16 glasses (8 tall glasses, 8 whiskey glasses) for $20. I held off and bought these instead, trusting the 1000s of reviews for these cups. I'm glad I did.3 pros right away:- First thing to note was the ease of gripping the cup. Any small adult hands can feel very comfortable holding the cup. Ease in comfort to hold will lead to less likely chance of glass slipping through your hand or fumbling it.- Second was the thickness of the rims of cups. Very sturdy. It doesn't feel like these will break if you accidentally bump them in the sink while you're handing washing them.- Third is the thick base at the bottom of each glass. If you accidentally bump these glasses while it rests on a table, they're likely to slide (assuming on a smooth surface) or wobble back to center very easily. If it does tip over, the glass won't break easily (just tested it out).If any of our cups break by chance, we'll definitely re-order another set.
