5.0 out of 5 stars Less rebound pain than I get with Icy Hot
For some reason Icy Hot patches (and the generic versions of them) will give me relief when I'm wearing them but leave me with some serious rebound pain after I take them off. I've had better luck with these capsaicin patches. The pain tapers down and stays down, even after I take them off. If you pull a muscle or overexert yourself, these will definitely help you bounce back.
5.0 out of 5 stars Does it work?
I tried this product and I think it’s very good. It does give you a lot of heat where you need it in the back or in the hand that is where my arthritis is the worst I think it’s a very good product.
4.0 out of 5 stars Capsaicin is the key
These are a bit difficult to apply, and will leave you with very raw skin if used repeatedly. That being said, they really work. Muscle pain is relieved greatly while wearing these. Before my hip replacement I wore one of these during the day, and a Walmart brand capsaicin patch at night. These actually affect your skin (and not only irritates skin but pulls it off at times). It will work about 4-8 hours. Smells like Ben-Gay but really works.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good
The patches are good and worth the money. There are better ones in the market but these are very decent. The temperature gets nice and hot and last through out the day. The patches do relief minor pain and don’t come loose or slip off. They actually stick on a little to well so you have to be gentle peeling them off. I do not recommend for sensitive skin.
1.0 out of 5 stars The glue on product is awful
I don't know where to begin, trying to apply these is a horror show, they are really attached to the paper, and when you try to get them off they stick together, the corners stick together, the corners stick to tha middle ,it gets ALL BUNCHED TOGETHER, it's a real mess,it's supposed to be cold or have a cooling effect but it gets worse when you try to apply them to your skin,I wouldn't recommend you get these,ESPECIALLY if you are a senior citizen, it's a waste of money.
3.0 out of 5 stars Beware of seller. Pay attention to description
I have been ordering these for years & as of late the price increased as well the quantity of product decreased. I had to call Bolo to get the other half of my order because seller is now charging for the "bonus" patch in count. Which is not advertised. The unit quantity still states "12" total. I ordered 10 (6) "packs" (1 + bonus 1=2 in pack). Instead I got 10 orders of 3 packs -"6" patches total. As far as product. Oh it works & gets hot. Sometimes too hot BUT if you have sensitive skin as I do BEWARE. I can only try no more than 2 days at a time & have to skip a week to allow skin to recover before wearing again. I hate being heavily medicated because I need to function independently so the patches help me to move around taking care of heavier task like laundry, bending/squatting/lifting activities, or reorganizing shelves that chronic high levels of pain normally hinders. Yes sticky stays on your skin. I normally have to use a product such as Goo Gone to get it off without inflamming skin more by scrubbing it off. And be careful if you wear a waist trainer, under bra area with digging straps, or elastic back brace anything causing tension or pressure on area where you are wearing patch can cause additional irritation that you have to guage if you can bear it. With my high levels of pain I bear it because the relief it provides for me to function outweighs the discomfort it potentially causes. Nothing terribly critical has occurs for me so far beyond inflammed skin so I adjusted how/when/how long I wear it as needed. Just be safe & know your OWN BODY. My mild to significant discomfort can be a chemical blistering burn for someone else.
