5.0 out of 5 stars Great cabinet!
I have a small kitchen with not a lot of storage and these cabinets came in very useful. They were easy to put together by myself and look really nice in the kitchen. Like others have said, it's not a heavy duty cabinet, but sturdy and great for extra storage.
5.0 out of 5 stars Product as advertised. Customer Service: 5 Stars
This cabinet is exactly what I expected for the price—an affordable piece made from manufactured wood. We're using it to store extra items that don’t fit in our kitchen cabinets, and it works well for that. It looks nice and holds everything I need. When I first opened the box, I was disappointed to find one panel slightly bent and cracked. At first, I thought I’d need to return the entire cabinet, but I found an option to report the damaged part directly to Sauder. I contacted them, and they sent me a replacement panel within three days. Once we had all the parts, my husband and I assembled the cabinet in about an hour without any problems.
4.0 out of 5 stars Easy Assembly. Decent quality
Hardware box is a little daunting when you dump it out but it goes together quick. Easy to read and understand instructions. Did it by myself in an hour or so. My only advice.... make sure you get screws lined up with the pre drilled holes before you commit. I had two go in incorrectly and they splintered the wood. luckily both spots were in hidden places. also luckily I was able to back the screws out and still get them back in with sufficient integrity. The material is definitely flimsy in spots but I believe the overall design is good and it should hold the stated weights (plus some, id guess) if assembled correctly. Its not gonna win any awards for "classiest furniture" but it's a great choice if you're looking for some relatively cheap, easy to put together, and suitable auxillary storage.
5.0 out of 5 stars Very stylish and roomy!
I purchased this to put in my bedroom for linens, books, and my art supplies. Some of the reviews claimed it was not too sturdy and bad quality. I’m telling you this cabinet is plenty sturdy and can hold so much! I just love it! I put gold handles on it and everyone has asked me where I got it from! Very cute and doesn’t break the bank! I recommend this cabinet!
5.0 out of 5 stars Durable and good size
The cabinet is bigger than expected. It took a while to put together by myself, but the instructions were clear and had diagrams. The shelving is up to you. On one side, I stored a regular sized vacuum and had a top shelf. Good quality, and the black exterior looks sharp
3.0 out of 5 stars Not bad, but also not great
I ordered and received this last week. The product came well packaged and the directions were very clear and well laid out.I won't do a long drawn out review because I don't think it's necessary, but do want to point out a few things that I noticed during and after assembly.I first wanted to start out with a response to a few of the reviews that showed staples that were exposed. There's a very simple reason why the staples are exposed....you didn't install those panels correctly. If they're installed correctly cabinet parts hide the staples. I'll agree that the staples could have been done away with and a different solution employed, but the fact of the matter is if you're seeing staples after you've assembled the cabinet, you did it wrong.Anyhow, the cabinet isn't very sturdy. It racks a bit back and forth, and from corner to corner. While you can probably permanently attach it to a wall to mitigate this, you really shouldn't need to. The MDF they used is super thin so it's going to rock quite a bit. Because of this, you'll never get the doors to line up properly, especially if your floor is slightly uneven, like if you have tile. Obviously if you have children, you'll want to secure this to a wall to prevent them from pretending to be Spiderman and climbing on it, only for it to fall over onto them.I have to give the company credit for putting together a great, step by step manual/directions.Aside from the above negatives, the cabinet does look nice. I just wish they'd have used slightly thicker material. No matter how much I adjusted the hinges I just couldn't get the doors to line up perfectly. If I bent the cabinet in certain ways the doors would align, so this goes back to the fact that slightly thicker MDF should have been used. All in all I'm not overly disappointed. If the racking back and forth begins to bother me I can DIY this with some bracing, but for the intended use it's probably not worth the time, effort, or cost of wood and materials. Is it worth the money? I'd say absolutely just because if I were to build this cabinet out of plywoods and hardwoods, I'd be somewhere in the $300-400 range with all the hardware, materials, and that's not factoring in my own time.If you're looking for a simple storage solution that looks attractive, this is your solution. If you're looking for something bullet proof, you might want to keep looking. I can probably destroy this cabinet with my fists and not even hurt my fists.
5.0 out of 5 stars great piece
very heavy box. all pieces were accounted for and undamaged. I appreciate the way the pieces were labeled, stamped on the ends instead of stickers. everything went together as expected. I do not believe it would sustain a move to another house without damage as it’s not super durable in structure. it gets the job done for what i need which was extra enclosed storage in my utility room. I added wheels to the bottom and placed the included handles on the sides so that I can roll it out when needed as it’s covering the fuse panel. I used some extra handles leftover from my kitchen cabinets as the primary handles. shelves and their ability to size up and down is a plus. material is particle board so wouldn’t place in a wet/humid prone area.
Looks great! Nice material, Sooo easy to assemble
I don't know about some people's fuss about the quality of work. I like it. The finishing it nice. It is nicely polished so its smooth. This DIY was probably has the easiest instructions I've had ever. Some DIY will only give you a paper with one phone with an essay on it. I noticed it is manufactured in Thailand? Nice job on them too.
Good price.
This cabinet is the perfect size for the space. Pretty easy assembly, nice wood colour.
Just as it looks and very useful
